You may also have two other issues that need to be looked at - as I had a "tick" in my Range Rover classic that I thought was lifters- Turned out to be an exhaust leak combined with a bad cat.
Just may want to check.

I like the Exo-Cage on the 130, but boy I really liked that truck when Dale had the G4 rack on the roof.
Here is a picture of us in the Western N.C. mountains a couple of years ago (Dale in the 130 and me in the NAS110).
Boy, Dale- I miss that old gal!
They did not allow folks to touch the cars, so I didn't get to peer under the "hood" but my guess is the Ford V8 Flat Head resides under the "dash" as it was hinged and did lift up and off- that much I could tell.
There was no info on the stove- did have a label on the back, but just a warning...
They also had this Citroen 2CV 4X4 Sahara - something like only 495 built with only less than a 100 remaining.
It was built to traverse the Sahara. Unusual 4X4 in that there is a front and rear engine! The top was completely roll back canvas. It had great visibility...
I am sure you will do this truck proud!! You were a pleasure to meet and hang with for a few.
Hope we can catch up on a trek sometime.
Take care of that truck!!
Looks as clean as she did when you left yesterday!

I had the great pleasure of visiting the Lane Motor Museum (which is 10 minutes from my home) this weekend. Not sure why I never went before, but if you ever find yourself through Nashville, ... it is well worth the $7 price of admission.
Many, Many early cars on display- mostly European micro...
It's a good weekend to buy that coveted 2004 Disco! Don't you think? James! I have a 2008 G4 LR3 now, but still think you have one the nicests LR3s on the road!
To the several interested parties: Someone buy this!! :D
This argument could be made for any Rover. Most of the Camel Trophy runs were done with bone stock trucks (gear added for storage, but no HD axles, CV's, etc.).

You have three options:
They have been covered in another thread here, and I'll find you a link : http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/63016-Wheel-adapters
1) Wheel Adapters- I did this on a 101 to put Defender 90 wheels.
2) On our Conqueror- I took pics of the wheel hubs and...
OK, another month, another payment! I am dropping this as a package deal to include everything for $15,900.00
That should make this a very palatable deal for someone. All you need is a lift package, and tires (selling the brand new pirellis with hurricanes will net you enough to pay for MTR...
Lt.Fuzz: I gotta say ... you have maintained one of the best attitudes through all of this. Your attitude and your tenacity to persevere gets you a vote to be on the next Camel Trophy Team!!
