Lamington National Park continued...
As we made our way along, we came across a few very nice water falls.
First falls.
Second falls.
At one point we had to remove our shoes and cross the very cold water. It was refreshing...
A few other shots we took along the way...

Lamington National Park continued...
After getting to the campsite a bit on the late side of things and setting up camp in the dark, we woke up to a cool but beautiful sight. There were wallabies feeding all over the camp site.
However there were less appealing critters that walk around...
From what I have seen to date in Australia, you need a poper snorkel if you live or travel anywhere but the major roads. Everywhere you go, there roads are "Subject to flooding". Now that looks like a pretty intense test! :sombrero:
Difficult decision...
I had originally posted this over in my Cruiser thread when you asked about the MTZ tire but the comments are valid here...
Both the Cooper and ******** Cepek would be good tires. I've seen a few FCII first hand and was intrigued by them. Back in Canada, a member of our...

Leaving is never easy...
On Sunday morning, we decided it was time for a bit of exercise after spending much of the time behind the wheel. We did an easy bushwalk that took us to the now dry Freshwater Lake. It was an easy stroll in the morning but it was already very hot when we set off...
Beach, Sand Bubbler Crabs and Ice cream trucks...
As we were getting ready to leave, I saw a truck pull up the beach and stop. A few seconds later, some vehicles that were literally blasting past (50 - 80 Km/h) pulled some hard stops and U-turns. I was wondering what was happening but could...

Heading North East for the weekend
So after much debate we decided that the beach was that the go. Due to fading daylight and not wanted to risk an encounter with a stray roo, we opted for a campsite that was close to Brisbane city. Once again we found ourselves surrounded by the Glass House...
