    Partner stove ?

A good stove. That would be the one. Yes the guys over at AT supplied the stove. I picked it up on Monday along the with AT skid plates, I mean can holders! Currently thinking about a mounting solution.

    The Canuck Truck buildup!

Truck configuration Thanks for all the compliments guys. Mr. Brady deserves much of the credit for developing this style of platform/set up. To date I’m surprised by how well the rig handles in the current configuration. I feel that he has managed put into practice many of lessons...

    The Canuck Truck buildup!

Final fixins for the rear bumper. After a long wait, they are finally in my hands! I believe that it was Wil that said these could be used as skid plates in a pinch. Well he is right! These things will outlast me. Super burley, me likes. Job well done to the Adventure Trailer boys...

    The Canuck Truck buildup!

Platform progress continued... Some details... After installing the paltform I noticed that you could just barely slide your finger in to open the tool box. I resolved that issue by spacing the box up by 1/2" using some plywood that I cut to lenght then coated with.. you guessed it more DIY...

    The Canuck Truck buildup!

Platform progess continued... Tent mounted! Ok, for some silly reason I did not get a picture of just the platform on the Tacoma. I was too production focused! I did manage to take care of the glaring tool box while I had the DIY truck bed liner out. To Be Continued...

    The Canuck Truck buildup!

Platform progess continued... Once I had the frame put together my friend was nice enough to swing by and help me cut up the aluminum diamond plate. We used a 2" x 4" clamped to the sheet at the correct location and a skill saw with a 60 tooth carbide tipped blade. Cut it very easily. No...

    The Canuck Truck buildup!

Platform progess After working ridiculus hours over the last few weeks, I had a day and half to get the rig ready for our annual "May run". Started chopping some steel and welding things together for the sub-frame. As one member on this board said:" Tthe devil is in the details" so I started...

    Stolen Adventure Trailer!!

Far stretch from you... Martyn, I'm way out of the way, but if I see a black Jeep towing a cool Adventure Trailer I'll take a close look and get in touch. I hope he gets spotted soon. :ar15: Cheers , P

    The Canuck Truck buildup!

Too bright! In my books, yes! I do have the "breathe easy and safely" mod also known as the Snorkel (see second picture down). You were up in Eastern Canada, cool. Yes the water from the spring run off has been at some of the highest levels in over 30 years. Lots of flooding along the...

    ARB Locker Wiring & Plumbing

Locker wiring and plumbing. Wise decision once again. My vote was going to be go the ARB route for ease of installation and having something that just works period. I've got a compact compressor with all the wiring and you really can't go wrong. :shakin:

    4.88 vs. 4.56 in a 2006

Excellent choice I have been secretly hoping you would go the 4.88 route. I know that Mr. Brady has never regretted his decision to go to 5.29 gears in the Tacoma. With your added weight and towing duites I am sure you won't regret your decision! :sombrero: Have you selected a gear...

Stove improvements If you keep this up, you will be: "sans nits"! I did see a photo of the revised grill but want to ask for permission before posting... If the new stove gets here before then, I'll take pictures and post them up. Thank you for sharing your experience and photos. Cheers, P

Organizing the Food/Beer in Your Fridge

Fridge organization. Tony, Superb thread, I don't know how I've missed it up untill now. Easy solution to problem #2, drink more/quicker so that your fridge is empty of bottles or I like goodtimes's suggestion. :sombrero:  I'll have to pick up some of these as well. Cheers, P
