In our Van we went with overhead cargo nets for clothes, that way no clothes bags in the way!! Works for lots of stuff overhead

We also have a simple canopy which we use by opening both doors to a 90 and I have a tent rod between doors on outer edge to support the awning and tie it to the van, I like this also for quick back door sun and night time camping.

Get an AWD Savana or Express, I had many RWD Vans in Wisconsin and would never go back to that again!!! AWD Is far better in snow country
