HOLY **** !!! , I have had hinge problems also, had to cold chisel one out also with small sludge hammer and lots of fluid , what a job, hope to not due that again and now almost every month, do the penetrating fluid, small amount !!! and let soak, and work side doors more often helps too ...

don't think less ridged - but maybe? , but Have you looked at your frame, AWD with side doors to me have a very large frame rails

A lot of movement on those big doors going down the road !!!, that is why the paint is worn off, I have that issue also. I have gotten some matching paint and touch up.

Did you take any pictures of when it was done ?? May help you fight your case. I also own a 2005 GMC AWD Conversion Van, fully loaded and would not part with It for any less than $10,000 with 175,000 miles!!! good luck !!!

I have got 180,000 miles on our GMC Savana with no paint issues -ever?? , drive year round in some **** Wisconsin winters. Dark Green paint also Must be the white ones they paint for the construction trades?? We have a fleet of white ones at work and I see the hoods with bad paint also.

Check with your local commercial Glass shops for aluminum extrusions also

I went to aftermarket brake calibers (slotted) and good quality pads, did the work myself and stopping power is better and don't get and brake chatter. also just but on new Monroe shocks all around and replace lower control arm bushing. Not much for upgrades other than keep it running right with...
