Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

Yes, they are 1.5" thick aluminum/PP/glass, nice panels. I will be using the same material for the floor of my camper, the rest will be glass skins both sides. The camper design is kind of going a little more equipped than basic, just trying to figure out where to draw the line between needs and...

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

The trailer build Got back on the trailer today, got the base extrusions cut and tacked in place, the rear door opening extrusions in place, hacked out a wall and stood it up, and realized after 20 years of fabricating conventionally what the first caveman to cook his kill over a fire felt...

    Cummins Jeep 4 Sale/Trade

I am looking to move from my Jeep into something I all get more use out of, small crew cab truck, Tacoma, Tundra, Frontier, 84-88 4Runner, the right Land Cruiser HJ series, KTM 500EXC or 690 Enduro. I built it a couple of years ago, wheeled Moab for 5 days, and it sits in the garage, I just...

I think there are a lot of campers for 2 people that would sell pretty easily, look at the crop of expedition rigs out there, most sleep 2 comfortably. Agreed on the Mog, too many good roads and not enough rough roads or trails (overland type) to appreciate the Mogs capabilities. Might as well...

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

Thanks. I finished building the sealing flanges for the cabinets, I originally made them so they would sit inside the cabinets but I installed them on the outside when it came time to put them on. That way the compression latch keeps pressure on the whole flange rather than pulling on the...

The trailer I am also putting a trailer together to haul the bikes, currently a have a Royal Cargo 14x7 V nose which works great and has help up for 3 seasons with no issues, but it's heavy. Thanks Ward, we ship a lot of stuff to and from Saskatoon, I will get in contact in the next while. You should have lots of room inside, I wish I could get a 108" CA in a crew cab but will have to be creative with the 84" truck, have to fit 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound sack....

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments. The panels…..well, I started playing with composite panels about 10 years ago, and recent developments have brought out the viability of composite panels in other ventures. I found it very difficult to find any of the panel manufacturers to take me...

No slipping I got my 5/8 rubber mat today, measured out at 1/2" thick, so it sits flush with the side sills, Oh well, maybe a good thing, weight is going on fast. Another product I like is Lava Grip, it's on the rear bumper, it sticks really good, has a 5 year warranty, and we have been using...
