    My 1st Montero

Thought so. It all looks straight forward, just so it goes straight forward when I'm done. Have spring compressors. I'll post what I find out.

    Any decent inclinometers?

For a buck, ninety-nine you could get this app if you have an iPhone. It's by Steven Eppler and app is called Tiltometer - Off Road. You can orient it simply by mounting the iPhone, starting the app and hitting the orientation cross-hairs button. Whatever the attitude of the iPhone the app...

    My 1st Montero

Congrats on the Gen III. Very nice package with your paint scheme. I have an HD OME kit along the way for mine and will install on my own, having done suspension mods before. Curious what you've heard or read on the difficulty of the install. As for the rear bumper, there's a local shop here...

A stock Gen III explores Utah

Noticed in your report a mention about sliders. I picked up a pair made by Rocky Road in Heber, Utah. Easy bolt-on in OE step location, great look, nicely welded, very strong.

Brad, background notwithstanding, you have an impeccable eye, one that comes naturally. You've combined that with a keen sense of shutter and composition and your results are stunning. I've trolled your galleries, evidence of your gift.

It's a perspective, though I constantly wonder if it's artistic. What you're seeing here in composing these shots is a design principle of closure, a Gestalt principle. The notion is that the viewer can fill in the blanks on cropping off the head, knowing full well that the rest of the head is...

    Dad, Daughter, and Dinosaurs...

Great prose and great pics. Hard to go wrong with such a candid companion. Thanks for posting. We're headed up to the Uintah Basin this weekend. IMHO, as for Fat Tire, can't beat a bottle.

    Volcano Collapsible Grill/Stove

Ah, yes, ribeyes. Good eye. They were delectable. She likes hers well done, I like mine rare. Three to four minutes a side, doubled for well done. Perfect. Can't wait to do more.

    Volcano Collapsible Grill/Stove

The latest addition to our kit adheres to our philosophy of grilling meat; gas is no substitute for charcoal and mesquite chips. The Volcano is made in Springville, Utah. We bought the non-propane model for less than a hundred bucks at Sportsmans'. It' 15.5 inches in diameter and collapses down...
