I always take a few extra bottles of water to keep in the cooler. Any time I pass a bicyclist or hiker, I stop and ask if they have enough water. Most of the time they do, but I've handed out a few bottles. It's a nice gesture that I'm sure doesn't go unnoticed, especially in the Arizona...

Well I'm getting a 3" medium duty kit, but with all the weight it's going to be carrying, it'll probably settle at around 2".

Throw the 33x10.50 BFG A/T's on your stock steelies. Be happy with an attractive, capable tire on a wheel that goes well with the lines of your vehicle. Problem solved. Now I wish I could solve my indecision so easily... .

Why do you want a wider rim if you're going with a 10.5" tire? How is it more useful? I say if you like the stock wheels, keep them. They'll save you the pain of messing with backspacing and all that, too. If you like the look of black wheels, paint your wheels black. Jeep wheels look good...
