    rubbermaid action packer

After seeing my friend TrickyT with these I had to have them! ActionPackers are OK but these are better. Thicker plastic, less wasted space inside and out and the kicker: A seal in the lid makes them dustproof. The downside, for exterior use: They are clear plastic. But they are another...

My Goldilocks Camper - Kimberley Kamper

Not that I'm opposed to playing salesman for KK, AT or whomever but typically its at least a 30-minute BS dealio if not longer. And if Sandy is along temps start rising fast given how often its occurred. So now, for inquisitive folks, I just lay the price out there FIRST. Then if they still...

    Low volume sprayer/shower head?

Low pump pressure capability won't allow you to restrict the flow (relatively). The on/off works great on the showerhead pictured above in my set-up. Another option would be to incorporate a mini-ball valve near the shower head. Although more bulky and heavy it would certainly do the on/off...

    Air Tank Questions

It all comes down to how much air you need/want and the space you have/don't have to house whatever air source makes sense for your needs. Air, relative to CO2, doesn't compress very well. And, although my 10# CO2 Powertank has gotten me to this point, the $22 refills and double trips...

    Low volume sprayer/shower head?

Sure. I have a couple different pumps. This one is the FloJet...the Aquajet however is hard mounted in the Kimberley Kamper. I use the FloJet with a kitchen faucet type sprayer from Home Depot when I'm solo, sans KK, in my Land Cruiser; this set-up also works great...simpler...cheaper. Dan

My Goldilocks Camper - Kimberley Kamper

I'm certainly not telling Christo anything he doesn't already know...but a couple challenges selling new KKs here stateside: Currency volatility. During the past 24-months the US/AU currency exchange rate has fluctuated from a low of about 60-cents on our dollar to almost even; its difficult...

    Low volume sprayer/shower head?

I was able to get mine down to .75gpm (I timed it!) by drilling a small hole (I want to say it was 1/16" or 5/64" hole?) in a penny and inserting it in the shower head I bought at Costco. A penny just happened to be the exact diameter I needed between the two rubber washers in the neck of the...

Transfer Case rebuild = Silence is golden –

Gary is da Man! He helped us out on our recent Utah trip after my lower rear control arm broke. Gary, in his supreme talented blacksmith way, beat the stretched bushing end back round and then welded it. Thanks Gary...steaks are on me next time we meet! Hijack over :coffeedrink:

Too much tire on my LC100?

Are you sure they're 864's?! That's an 80-series 3.5-4" lift spring. Highly unusual you would have those. Having said that I'm running those...but I have TONS of add-ons, 35" tires, etc.

    Question for Kimberley owners

I am running 255/85 R16 and that is max tire height for a KK. This is also the max size KK relayed to us during the order process. I don't think its possible to get 35" stuffed on these without rubbing. Related FYI: KK utilizes the Toyota OEM LC spare tire lift mechanism for their spare!

12V plugs & sockets for fridge install

The KKs come with Euro/non-USA/Powerlet style 12V plugs and receptacles. They are GREAT! Secure, high current carrying and positive connection. BMW, et al, motorcycles use this style too. http://www.powerlet.com/shop-by-product/power-distribution/PWRDIST I carry both female and male...

Too much tire on my LC100?

E rated tire casings are probably a little stiff...certainly more so than a D rated tire all things being equal of course. But back the psi down to 40-45psi and you'll notice a huge improvement. I NEVER run over 52psi on my E rated GY MT/R Kevlar's and that's with TONS of added weight and a...

    100 series 4 vs 5 speed auto

Yes from a better RPM management perspective. From my friends who've gone from the A343F (4-speed auto) to the A750F (5-speed auto) 100-Series there is a considerable difference in perceived +hp and overall efficiency and shifting smoothness. I know I don't like the big ratio jumps in my '99...

    Options For Powerful Onboard Air?

If I have any more trips like the last one I'm going to need more than 10# of CO2 to power the air grinder, impact and ratchets :D Thank God Gary...aka MUDRAK...had the welder AND an electric grinder or I would have been SOL.
