Awesome, I’ve been contemplating a full wrap or just chrome delete. But maybe I’ll try the gloss or mat dip first. Not sure how well it will hold up with all the tree branches on the narrow Ouachita and Ozark trails I frequent.
BTW, Frontrunner slimline racks are in stock if you give up on the...
Great platform. I had one for a while with the proud rhino 2” lift rods and K02s. It comes with skids underneath and has enough ground clearance and approach/departure to tackle a lot of trails with no additional mods.

Not as far as I can tell. But it could possibly be working and it’s just not showing in the LCD because the software version on the dash isn’t listening for those messages. Who knows at this point. But I hope to tinker and figure it out over time.

Swapped the 4x4 control module for fun. The dial and traction button work, which is what I was expecting. If/when I import the patrol rear diff with e-locker I will chase down which additional modules and harnesses I need to swap to get it all working.
Oddly, there is a placebo effect just by...
I had some time to kill and clicked through EVERY Y62 page on patrolpart.au looking for interesting things. There are many items that would require some modifications to work on the USA spec rigs, but many that would likely bolt right on. Enjoy...

Thanks! It’s been fun learning this platform.
And regarding the response above, I second all of that. And for context, here are a few of the trucks I’ve owned in no particular order and I’m certain I’m not remembering all of them ;-)
LR Disco 2
Series 1 v8 VW Tuareg
Range Rover 322

PS, I haven’t found Nisstec to be all that knowledgeable about this platform btw. No offense to them. They just don’t seem to have much experience with these.

Congrats on the new truck!
I ran my 295/70/18 ridge grapplers on stock suspension for several weeks without issue. No rubbing at all.
And no warning light of any kind from the rear air being disconnected. It’s basically a dumb/self contained system with little to no integration into the...
Looks great! Congrats on the progress. Minor thing you might want to consider addressing if you didn’t yet - the 12v wiring to the winch. You can add a protective braided wire loom and route away from the edge of radiator. That’ll help ensure it doesn’t chafe and short.

Also, if you add longer shocks upper control arms are necessary to allow for the droop. Basically you won’t get the benefit of the longer shocks. Just the improved ride quality.

Yep, there are a few other shock options. They should all work as long as the springs are the correct length. Like the bilsteins.

Thanks! I drove around town a little more and am really loving how it handles.
PS, for anyone running Ironman or OME or similar lifted springs and need to correct positive rear camber I have an unused set of Ontrack offset bushings for sale. $225 shipped to lower 48.

Finally installed the springs. I’m very happy with the height and ride quality so far. Feels a tad softer than the Ironman springs, but still much more firm than stock. These springs combined with the foam cell pro shocks and struts make for a great combo. It is more on the cushy and progressive...
Looks great! I’m glad I went with the Dirt Kings UCAs. No need for grinding as they totally clear the bucket. Down side is not quite as adjustable as the SPCs.

Welcome to the club. I have 18x9 with 18 offset and 295 tires. I had zero rubbing with a fully stock suspension. You should be totally fine with something like that. No spacers or other mods needed.
