    Camper Door

I watched some videos and it's kinda a PITA. Also, it tends to put the door handle very low in the door, since you typically are removing the extra from the bottom part of the door and the handles are already installed.

    Camper Door

Sadly I am not finding them. I need a midsize door (50-54" range) and the only one I can find is the Wildlands door. I have this door on my M1010 project and it's nice but I would love to find something of good quality at a lower price. Unfortunately all I find are teardrop size doors (too...

    2003 F550 No Limit

Looking like a great project. I agree, too many people don't really understand not having standing height is not such a great thing, long term. I raised the roof on my M1010 to give me 6' height inside and it was a game changer. Looking forward to the build.

    The Wanderers build

Yeah, Raptor Liner would have been my choice. You can adjust the texture with air pressure and it ends up more of a semi matte finish instead of glossy.

2021 EarthCruiser Terranova; Idaho; Price Drop to $249,900 for Spring!

Actually, if this was purchased as an "incomplete" vehicle, i.e. cab and chassis, since Earthcruiser was a legit motor home manufacturer, they can legally up the GVWR to what they have legally submitted for. They had to submit to DOT for approval. It's not likely they took a stock pickup and...

New Camp Trailer Build - Bean Squared Style

Did a first draft concept of what I am looking to build. It is fairly to scale but doesn't have all items included but gives a good idea of the layout. I think this is totally doable.

New Camp Trailer Build - Bean Squared Style

Hi all, So I have been thinking of a camp trailer for quite a while. Our first delve into the overland world was back in 2007 when we picked up a Kamparoo Cub "clam shell" style trailer. We had a lot of fun and great trips with it. We moved to a truck/popup camper, then was out of the...

How Soon Before They’ll Be Coming For You? Busting Diesel Deleters Continues…

Yeah, I have never understood this. I have had/have a few diesels and didn't want them smoking anymore than needed. Sadly the "coal rollers" have done nothing but hurt the diesel market by getting tighter and tighter regulations.

    2000 Ram 2500 V10 and 2014 Northstar TC800 Camper

I used rated eye bolts mounted into the corners of the bed frame (steal part). Then I used rated turn buckles to attach the eye bolts to the camper, to tie it down. This was manly a temp solution to get it home from AZ to San Diego. I had to estimate everything, since I had to pre-setup stuff...

    Carb at high elevation

Yep, I can totally agree with this. My plan with my M1010 project is to swap out the 6.2L diesel and put in a 7.4L gas (454 BBC). I am going to use a TBI setup, which is fairly simple and basic but will give me better mileage and altitude compensation. Carbs are fine for some applications...

Will Jeep and Ram Truck Prices Take a Steep Dive Soon?

Yep, this is what happens when you price your customers out of the market. Somehow all of the auto manufacturers are not watching the prices for everything is going up, at a much higher rate than people's incomes. When it comes to the end, people have to make choices on how their money is...

    Best M/T tyre? 285/70/17

I have always had good luck with Toyo and always have heard good experiences from people running them. I have the Toyo M/T on my ambo project and they ride nice but I haven't used them offroad yet. I have run Toyo A/T 3 on my old Cherokee and my current Xterra. When I replace the tires on my...

    Carb at high elevation

Yeah, a carb and big changes in altitude will never play well together. A buddy of mine has a '67 Chevelle that he built when in San Diego. Car ran great when tuned for that area. He moved to Flagstaff, AZ and had nothing but problems with it running well. He finally got a local guy to tune...

Yep, that's how my buddy does it, who has been doing auto electrical for 3 decades.

PRICE DROP 1993 Ford F250 IDI Turbo Diesel 7.3 Service Body 4x4 + Resto-modded 1973 Alaskan Camper Pop Top. Portland, OR

Nice looking rig. Curious what the GVWR is, compared to the loaded weight of the rig?

Will Jeep and Ram Truck Prices Take a Steep Dive Soon?

Honestly I think ALL car/truck companies need to get a grip on their pricing. It is sad that our 2016 RAV4 is likely the last new car we will buy. Most likely will buy used in the future and even then prices are insane for used vehicles....

    F250 flatbed camper build

Nice interior layout and build. I wish other companies would take a lesson from you and increase the roof height over the bed area. Yours looks nice and roomy and not tight, unlike our current Northstar and previous FWC.

    Meet Yeti - 2013 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X

Just a quick update. The recent heat we had, was causing my Scan Gauge II velcro mount, to come off the dash. I found a company who make an adapter place that allows a RAM mount to be used ( https://smkfabrication.com/product/scangauge-ii-ram-mount/ ). I picked up a base mount, which I...

    Interior wall/ceiling covering

I have bought FRP for my M1010 project. I was able to find a company that offered some colors other than white and I could get them in 9' lengths so I can do the walls/roof in one piece length wise (interior is 106"). I still have to use multiple panels width wise.

New Patriot Campers ST5 Super Tourer

Hi all, This happened to come across my YouTube feed and I hadn't heard anything mentioned of it. The new Patriot Campers ST5 Super Tourer. This thing is slick. I am sure it will end up in the 6 figure price range so not likely going to see many of them around.
