Well... picked up a 2013 Xterra Pro-4X last night. Super clean and just over 65K miles. Outside of the color (really wanted the blue or green), it is exactly as I wanted. Moving over to this from my clean '99 Jeep Cherokee. I recently had a knee replacement and found with the narrow footwell...
Thanks for the info. For this build and everything on it, that is about the closest I have seen someone over GVWR. Most are many hundreds or even a thousand or more over GVWR.
Nice fab on the bumper but I think you are going to have issues with the lights being at a downward angle. One might be from a legality point of view (not sure being pointed downward is legal also the license plate not being clearly visiable) but the bigger issue is going to be visibility...
I have a 2000 Ram 2500 and I am looking to go up to 17" wheels, from the stock 16" ones. The main reason for me is, the front brakes. For 2000-2002 Ram 2500's, they use a slip over front rotor instead of the press from behind hub style of '99 and earlier. Because of this, you can upgrade to...
Bummer about the brakes. I hope it all works out. Sadly, I have been in the hot rod/classic car world for a very long time (40 years) and these calipers are about the worst system ever built. Biggest issue is with the e-brake part. After a while, they won't adjust the pads correctly so not...
I did the same thing on my '97 Ram 2500 with FWC on it. Custom pack without any lift block. Road so much better, both on street and in the dirt. Great decision.
Can't really help with the actual bag/suspension part but for air management/auto level, you might look into this system. It is used widely in the hot rod/classic car world.

If you want to get some very top notch gauges, that are built to order (you get to customize all sorts of options), I highly recommend Speedhut Gauges. I have used them on 3 different projects and have loved them. Each one, custom done to my specs.

I am sure cost will always play a bigger role to how popular things get. I love the OEV campers, the price point will likely keep me out of them. You're also not likely to see many on the used market for quite some time. With the new cost of a FWC a fair amount lower and having been on the...
Yeah.... I had that happen to me when I was building a '68 C10 truck. Front clip off, bed off, engine/trans out.... humm.... it's only 4 more bolts and the cab is off. LOL
Looking good!
