what is the weight on these ? The measurements you provided are they exact ? Any mo pics of the bearings mechanism and how they slide ? I might be interested.. here in SurCal as well...

It depends on how big / heavy your set up (fridge) is... I got a 90L NL so I will probably go with a 500@ slide. Accuride has them at 500@ but go down to 300@ on a mobile application... I remember reading this somewhere...

I would try to build my own.... It would probably be of better quality n last a lot longer... I think most covers sold out there are only good for a few years, depending on what part of the country you live in...

We done it in the past.. Yes, biodegradable soap is a must... I don't dig baby wipes, so I try not to use them...

I guess you could, under severe weather conditions, but I wouldn't do it..

bringing this up to topic.. I was at IKEA last week and decided to buy this little guys and see how the work for us....

It is a 4 season tent... which means its made to withstand the harsh elements at high altitude i.e. high winds, snow drifts and the UV rays that eat fabric when at altitude...and strong guy points to anchor it to the ground.. It should be no different in summer from a regular 3 season tent.....

Please post pics of what you come up with... I too am looking at building my own and have found good info on the net about how to build one... I just havent had the time....
