Sounds like you need a double compartment freezer. I got a NL and I can keep my frozen meats, ice cream, fish on one and my chilled drinks, fruit, veggies in the other..... ;)

I too use TNF Expedition Duffle bags XL. They are tough as nails. we used one for clothes and two more for gear (climbing,bike). These are easy to strap down and easy to get to... They are also easy to transport to and from the car... I got a RTT so, all the bedding gear stay inside the RTT.

I have had the Columbus for about 8 or 10 months. now..... It does well on windy conditions... better than my 4 season bibbler tent (yeah its old) It def does better than any of the clam style tents...
