1990 3Bii Toyota Diesel and H55 transfer case. Less than 100K miles on engine and case. Came from a '90 BJ75. Reason for availability is putting in a 1HDT. Everything worked perfectly upon removal.

I will probably just call because I can't seem to remember to check here very often but does anyone have one of these on the West Coast (Portland area preferred)? I'm going to want to see one before I commit to a 9K purchase.
What do you think of this as a S American exped truck. It's an '88 FJ62, manual transmission with a '92 1HDT. It's in good mechanical order. Would you be hesitant taking a rig this old on the drive South?
Thanks for the trip report. I was there around Jan 1 and did the trip in the opposite direction on "the steps." Ran into a couple of guys in a "brand new" 4runner that were stuck in the middle of the first step. They had nothing. No Hi-Lift, shovel, max trax....nothing. Eventually got them...
I don't know a lot but I do know this; dogs don't live long enough. You pour your heart and soul into them and then they leave you all too soon. I don't know you but I'll bet you gave Pugsly a great life. Be happy for the times you had....they move on much too quickly.
Sorry for your loss......
Ha....saw this photo and thought to myself that it sure looks like a place that I've camped in Agua Verde. I'll be damned. You have mighty fine taste in camp spots.....I haven't found a better one in Baja...yet.
Thank you!
Thanks for the report. Oh yeah, I remember those two days it didn't rain here in Oregon. The wettest winter I can "ever" remember. Looking out my office window at a driving rain at this moment. I could use some Baja RIGHT. NOW.
If you buy a stove I highly recommend buying the repair kit at the same time....you will eventually need it. You will find at some point that the "pressure" will begin decreasing on one or both of the burners. The kit will come with everything you need and instructions to remedy the issue...
Yes, this is a good report. Amazing that I've covered a lot of the same ground over the years. Spencers. Organ Pipe. Rocky Point. El Golfo. Still haven't made it to San Felipe but your pics tell me I need to go.
Cochise. That looks like a great area that I'd like to explore.
Thanks for posting.
