Where abouts? We played on Emigrant Road, near Pollock Pines, a few times? Looked like that one snow storm at home in Placerville, once upon a time: For love, nor money...didn't make it to work that day. First out truck in pics was the 2wd GMC with fat tires and no traction. Stay home by the...

Split Rear Bench for 1st Gen

It should be a reasonable fit for the rear 4-door seat to go to a 2-door, if that is your scenario.

    Sell Montero Sport for Montero?

Gosh, Ft. Collins to Denver is SO FAR...:Wow1: Teasing. My last time through that neck of the woods was a multi-leg trip from Doulglas, WY to Denver Airport, then off to McCook, NE. Was a long day of driving at the end of this past March, followed an F2 tornado through to the McCook area. Lots...

Lets see your full size Chevy!!!

Posted other times, but I had a Chevy that never took me anywhere. However, it was pretty yard art until I traded it away. I waited about 2 years saving money from Montero parts sales to buy this truck. I paid off the $1800 back fees ( :Wow1: ) my buddy owed in addition to a reduced price. I had...

New (to me) Gen1 Montero LS

Undoubtedly my favorite color on the Monteros. I parted out a 5-speed model like that a few years ago, some parts linger with me still. I have the horizontal slat grill you seek also, chrome or black. Cheers, Russell

Saw this in the side of another picture. What kind of van?

Howdy all, I was perusing another site with a separate topic and spied this 4wd van in the side background of a picture. Looks to be Euro or Russian and has a lovely front drive axle. What is it?

My new '87 Ramcharger build thread

The van is leaf spring front? I've seen an A100 converted using late 60's Power Wagon parts, didn't have to change the master cylinder over for disk brakes and such. That van looked too top heavy for me, but was probably only running 31" tires. Kind of like this, but with a 440:

My new '87 Ramcharger build thread

I used Riv-Nuts in nine (9) positions and 1/4" hardware, ample silicone to seal, and cross-fingers. The rack survived a freeway trip to work today. Now, I need a little wire-feed welder to further secure the expanded steel...very noisy bouncing around.
