Looks like modern art. Except for heat transfer, why not mount them on the outside? They are all pretty, afterall. If not in view, how about underneath the trailer and tap one cell for air relief?

WHY would you have purchased a Montero, then? We have one of many Gen Is with a sunroof, and I wish it would run for me...sunroof woes aside. I'd love to have it operable, and would definitely fix anything wrong with additional cooling this way, my wife likes to make out under the stars you see.

I have nothing to contribute to the discussion except a tidbit of fun. I had an assigned work vehicle, a really nice 2006 F350 Supercab shortbed 4x4 with the V10 and 4.30 gears. What fun we had! The truck was faster than the muscle cars I had in the 80s, returned the same fuel mileage or better...

Why do people always start with 'So'? The timing belt covers are supposed to be free of oil. If there is oil in the timing cover area, it will be from leakage of the front crankshaft seal, cam seals, distributor seal, or valve cover gaskets...and a far outside possibility would be a head gasket...
