    Introducing Trekker Vans Campervan Rental

I really like that style of cabinet. Plywood that's strong, the coating is strong and impermeable. I might go with a brighter color, actually liked that blue honestly. Can you make the surface any smoother? How rough is it? Did you use pocket screws? What size?

Not So Subtle E350 Shuttle - 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed

If it helps, you can offset your costs by building a second setup and I'll pay you a fair price for it. It's cheaper than me buying a TIG welder. I really appreciate the info Euro Ford.

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

My new house in Crooked River Ranch was in the path of totality, with parking for plenty. I invited many people and was able to get a good shot of all the vans now in my family. On the far right we have my Motovan 1.0 which my Mom and Stepfather are now camping out of, 2nd from the right is my...

Not So Subtle E350 Shuttle - 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed

I put a big Puma air compressor in my Motovan, it's been great. I've run it a lot, I've probably aired back up 30+ times. I use Trailhead deflators, they screw on like a valve stem cap and bleed the air down to a preset pressure, 25 PSI for me. It takes 10-12 minutes to air back up to 50 in...

Dirt worthy wheel and tire options for heavier campers

The 265 and 235 combo sounds interesting. I'd really like to avoid the duals altogether, but that will be an expensive route to go no matter what. I might be swapping axles anyway if I go to 4WD, so spacing and lug pattern might change. F550 axles front and rear would be great, but that's...

Dirt worthy wheel and tire options for heavier campers

I would need a 6" lift to fit 35s. 4" lift and I can fit 33s. To lift it high enough to fit 41s is unrealistic.

Ok, I finished reading it all. Very nice job, I loved the video tour. Have you taken it to the scales yet?

My next new build is about to start - V3 Explorer - Feedback from the group needed

I read the first page and the last page, that's enough to know that I need to read all the pages in between :coffeedrink: The induction cooktop was only $60?!? Was that for a whole new unit or just the glass?

Just an other aluminium truck camper project

Looks great. I admire the building from scratch approach. What BMW motorbike in the background?

Dirt worthy wheel and tire options for heavier campers

That sounds pretty good. I couldn't fit a 41" tire personally, but the F450/550 probably can without too much hassle. That's also a great price for a tire that size. Limited to 110 KPH though, what's that, 70 MPH?

    No standing headroom: Deal breaker??

Total deal breaker for me. I live out of an airplane during the fire season that I can't stand up in and it sucks. Just for the loading and unloading of the van, as well as the building of the interior it's worth having standing room.

Java, that Toyo M608 in 285 70R19.5 might work for you. 35" tall, 6395 pounds as a single.

Dirt worthy wheel and tire options for heavier campers

That is my plan. I intend to build out the whole box first for several reasons. Cost, time, knowing the final weight, and knowing if this size box will be able to do enough of the things that I want before investing the time and money of going with 4WD. I'm not completely opposed to going...

Dirt worthy wheel and tire options for heavier campers

Yes it's going to be very tall. I don't think I need to carry more than one spare.

Dirt worthy wheel and tire options for heavier campers

Toyo R/T in 285/75R18 is 34.8" tall and rated for 4080 pounds. 8160 for the axle, 1290 under the axle rating.

Old thread I'm bringing back from what appears to be the dead, but this rig looks awesome! Did you build out an interior?

Dirt worthy wheel and tire options for heavier campers

BFG AT KO2, same tires I have on my Motovan now that I'm really impressed with. They're available in a 295/75R16, 33.3" tall, 3,970 pound capacity. With a 5400 pound axle weight with just my XR650R in the back, that would give me an empty axle weight of about 5100 pounds. With those tires I...
