ARFF vehicles will go anywhere you want off road. I've driven a P-19 in places that even the most built rock crawling jeep would look at and say f-no.
I can only imagine that it would be even better if it's not carrying 8,000 lbs of water, 500 lbs of dry chem, and another few thousand pounds...
Obviously we all have strong feelings one way or another about big things like engines, suspension, axels, diffs, etc.
But what is your favorite, or least favorite seemingly inconsequential thing on your Land Cruiser?
For me it's the cargo area windows that flare out.
My least favorite are...
high quality equipment grade leather is probably the best possible material for seats. I can imagine it would be VERY expensive though. Obviously not typical automotive seat leather, but the grade of leather they make luggage and motorcycle jackets out of.
If I was in colorado I would come pick this up on a heartbeat. Let me know if other buyers fall through.
Are the internals custom or can they be purchased somewhere? I've been shopping around for something to build an EMS kit with, this case is available for $99 with free shipping from a...

So this has gone up for sale. I've spent countless hours driving one of these vehicles and have to say it's one of the most capable off-roading vehicles I've ever seen.

I don't have factory hears or wheels. My uncle owned the vehicle for a few years, not sure of its history before that. I think he's responsible for about 50k miles.
I'll post some pictures later today or tomorrow.
It is with a heavy heart but a level head that I must offer my 100 Series Land Cruiser for sale.
Previous owner was a family member who is a certifiable car nut who take meticulous care of his vehicles. All major service has been done at Toyota dealerships, where other family member is Service...
follow up question, while it may take 12-36 hours of drive time to get to 100%, how variable is the charge rate? Will it, for example, get to 80% in 1 hour, and then take 11 hours for the last 20%? What is the equation that governs the charge rate in the battery?
Then I guess I don't understand why the house battery can't suck that power out of the alternator. What is the limiting component? Wires, charge controller, battery?
