    FOUND Vans For Sale!

And I thought my van was heavy! If I had the money to spare for a bulletproof bugout vehicle, that could be pretty cool. With the gearing, weight, and terrible aerodynamics though, I bet the fuel bill would kill you just driving it enough to prevent it from deteriorating. I'm sure it rides as...

    Van heating thread

This has been an educational thread. I'm less shy of the vent free heaters especially after this page http://roadslesstraveled.us/rv-heater/ I have a forced air furnace in my pop up Aliner. It's small, has no canvas and is pretty well insulated on all sides except the floor. The sound it...

What to look for in a e350 superduty

Consider the cost of the high top added later on. That's why I bought a super high top wheelchair van with tall rear doors already installed.

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

Lucky J, I pretty much just drive the speed limit unless I'm on a race track, but I can still pass a line of cars, semis and RVs all at once, even with the trailer behind the Corvette ;)

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

The wheelchair lift is too slow and finicky to use for the bike. I plan to remove it and sell it if I can or just get crap metal value and try to sell the hydraulic power pack. There doesn't appear to be a market for the lifts once they're out of the van. I wanted a high roof, tall rear...

    High roof / low roof

I was amazed at how little a strong cross wind affected my E350 with 24" top.

    High roof / low roof

I like the big one much better than my small one.

    High roof / low roof

Go big or stay home. I'm really happy I held out for a van tall enough to stand in.

    Petrolburner's '03 Tundra patient one-step-at-time-takes-a-long-time build

Sorry about the pics, I use Facebook as my photo host and those *******s change the url all the damn time. I'm listing her for sale today, pretty melancholy about it. http://bend.craigslist.org/cto/4816766114.html

    Downsides to ambulances

Low deck height, kind of aerodynamic, relatively light weight... Or... That wheelchair van is only $6 grand, that will buy a lot of moto tires and track day fees.

    Wow. What a build!

    Downsides to ambulances

I'd opt for a 10' box van instead. More room inside the box, lighter weight, single rear wheel, has a low floor height etc. Nice ones available for sub $10,000. Get one with the aerodynamic thing above the cab for better highway mileage. Injectors and pumps on those old diesels can be...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

I too saw that 7.3l Ford yesterday. Almost had my friend in Corvallis go check it out but I decided to hold out for a high top wheel chair van. Or a mini bus. Must sell Tundra first...
