i Think I know what ppl don’t like about the new defender or Land Rover or basically any new 4x4, It’s not the capabilities it’s the fact that it can’t be field repaired. the lr4 that was with us did great, if it had better tires it would of made everything at first try.

I didn’t say LR4 didn’t make the trail, I said lr4 had to try many many times pushing it hard to make it, Wanna bring it with us next time ? U are more than welcome, I am saying it’s fragile. Don’t get your hearth rate up, Sometimes We enjoy giving new Land Rover owners hard time.

Older land rovers

hunmer Didn’t break down, it had some oil leak because jiffy lube didn’t put oil gasket on properly and it was 2 min fix, Defender didn’t break down, it was absolutely drivable. However that one lr4 took 10 tries and all the effort to follow us with its low profile tires. I am not biased.

6 day Death Valley expedition with few land rovers.

In Death Valley with (x) Southern California Land Rover club. awesome group of adventures, defender had broken brand new heavy duty OME shock . And my Humvee had oil filter gasket issue, because those monkeys at jiffy lube didn’t put it on properly. Both vehicles needed 4 min of pit stop fix.
