They are former employees of Moby. That is a connection. They started a new company by LYING to the public about this connection with Moby. This is a large reason they are having to prove themselves. They also started a business without the available capital to fund a build and are...
Requiring a 50% deposit, given your background, makes this sound exactly like the same scam Moby ran. When I bought our FWC (a company with 30+? years of history), they required a 30% deposit that one is able to put on credit card.
How about a $5,000 deposit and ~5 equal draw payments as...
Did you mount that awning yourself? Looks to be a roof mount instead of a wall mount, and also a good bit longer than the one usually installed by FWC?
Very happy with my long range tank on the 200. When towing our trailer, the 100 gets about 8mpg. The 24 gal aux tank will be super nice to have on the 200.
XP makes the integrated pull out side steps for their flatbed which looks awesome.
The large scissor steps that seem to be most commonly used to access a flatbed camper seem like a PITA to me.
How does the awning attach to the rear hatch? That looks like a great setup, one of the complaints about TD trailers is the uncovered kitchen but it looks like you've solved that problem!
I was having a hard time stomaching the price of the G.A.R.B. but after another weekend out using the trasharoo and fighting with buckles and straps, I pulled the trigger this morning.
Looking forward to getting it and trying it out!
The 100 will work great for you. Our siberian husky loves the back cargo area. With the rear AC he has two vents directly aimed at him. Very nice, especially since my wife is a teacher so most of our travel tends to be in the hotter summer months.
The 100 will work harder to cover the...
Toyota needs to start making the crewmax with a 6.5' bed. Until then, as much as I love Toyota and Tundras, it isn't the right tool for the job.
If I had more money than sense, I'd buy a new crewmax and send it to Utah to the www.stretchmytruck.com guys, for them to put a 8' bed extension on...
Cool video, cool camper! My AT trailer has the airbag suspension and the absolute nicest part is how easy it is to level out at camp. The Patriot has an even fancier powered system.
GLWS!
So did moby just go Out of business, or did they do so taking lots of deposits with them? I don’t think anyone has actually posted that they lost a deposit to them…
The FWC water system is pretty good. I think most who get a shell prefer the simplicity of jerry cans! I didn’t want to deal with winterizing the camper and worrying about freezing, so our shell simply has a sink basin with drain, and 5 gallon water Jerry can sat on the counter. Easy peasy!
I am planning to bring the family out to MT and WY right after school ends, middle of June.
Any thoughts on things that time of year?
I’ve been to Glacier back in college, and to Jackson hole to ski a few times. But outside that have no experience in these two states and just want to spend...
Amazing photos, thanks for sharing!
I've got a 2012 Tundra for my work truck, our Hawk has been on it a few times and I'm happy with it. Heavy campers can strain the Tundra, but since yours is the slightly smaller Raven and a lighter shell model you should be just fine.
Did your shell come...
