2003 100 Series build - my first Cruiser

We will be there. And I think I saw @cboyd's name on the reg list. So that's at least 3x100s at VOR! Leaving tomorrow after work, come say hello.

    Post up your drawer/storage system

On my build I used 10-24 bolts and lock washers into tee-nuts. As Charlie mentions above, that was overkill! On subsequent builds I have just used wood screws. I have used the 60" accuride heavy duty slides 3 times now, and on those I will still use 2-3 bolt/lock washer/tee-nut per side...

Securing fridge to flat pull out

There are captive nuts on the underside of the ARB that have been engineered to secure the fridge. I've used lock washer and bolts in two different installs that have held up to plenty of trail use and are still tightly secured.

Why do you say that? That would be a rare occurrence of the 100.

Fleet Walkaround Video, 3rd gen tacoma

How do you find the door height? I like the larger pop-up height of the Fleet and am considering selling my Hawk for a Fleet shell, but the smaller tighter door and entry isn't super appealing. I would mainly be doing it to reduce size and weight, and to get a shell that we can build to meet...

Is a Land Cruiser the right choice

You can do it on flatland but it will NOT be fun. Not the proper tool for the job. 200 series.

Is a Land Cruiser the right choice

A first gen sequoia has way more room than a 100 or 200. We have one of each and the sequoia wins hands down for people hauling. It all depends on what you're going to do with it and how hard you might wheel it.

I don't see much 200 series here, any particular reason?

Is there a website that lists LC production numbers over the years? Would be curious to see the decline in numbers since the 100 series. There were 10 years of 100 sales and now 10 years of 200 series sales.

Didn't know you got a 200?! Can we be watching the website for updates and mods to it? What's in your plan?

I don't see much 200 series here, any particular reason?

Lots of 200 folks over on Mud. The older ones are now getting more affordable and guys like me are finally buying them and will start building them up. '08-10s with 100-150k are now in the $25-30k range.

I think I am doing this wrong

We have a pop up camper on a flatbed trailer and it's an awesome setup for us. We had 30 nights in it last year and aiming for 35-40 this year. My son is almost 2 now. Having something that is quick and easy to setup and has standing and sitting room for mom and baby has been awesome...
