Fiamma awnings. Now is the time to buy

I got mine from the local four wheel camper dealers, the very helpful guys at Main line Overland here in Pennsylvania.

Fiamma awnings. Now is the time to buy

Really? They should be getting Fiamma orders pretty regularly to go on the FWCs they sell. I would've thought they could help you out.

They were never too keen on any sort of customization, now they are just less so.

What is the value for a 1998 Land Cruiser with 7,100 miles yes only 7,100 miles

Hard to determine value. The top of the 100-series market seems to be a handful of '06-07 MY examples with sub 100k miles in the high 20s to low 30s. You're going to have to find a pretty unique buyer who can pay cash and wants to spend that kind of money for an 19 year old vehicle with...

Alu-Cab Has Landed In The USA!

I have the Gamiviti quick release mounts. They are very nice. Pretty sure they won't be strong enough for the Alucab awning. Work great with our current arb awning though.

Alu-Cab Has Landed In The USA!

My shadow awning is still sitting on the shop floor because of the very same reason. Rin, if you decide to make mounts for the gamiviti, looks like you'll now have at least two buyers!

    NR's 2007 Toyota Sequoia - Soy-Quoia Build

Fair enough, but my point is that a Grp31 battery on its own will power everything including a fridge for 2 days minimum. So unless you are doing trips where you are parked for long periods at a time, a single grp31 would serve most people very well. Add the solar panel to that, and even if...

    NR's 2007 Toyota Sequoia - Soy-Quoia Build

Why do you need dual batteries? What is a dual battery system composed of smaller batteries going to give you or do for you that a single larger battery with a solar panel can't? Note that I am not being rude, rather asking your reasoning because based on my experience it is easy to drink the...

    NR's 2007 Toyota Sequoia - Soy-Quoia Build

You might want to consider running a single Group 31 with the 100W solar panel. That should keep a fridge running almost indefinitely. I spent a lot of money and time assembling a dual battery setup on my 100, and unless you plan on staying parked for long periods of time during your trips...

Planning on building my own pop-up from ground up.

I'll be interested to follow along. Did you consider getting a bare bones shell from ATC and just building it out how you want? It's a pretty reasonable price to let a company with years of proven experience do the important part! I would be surprised if your base build was any lighter...

IM1RU's VMI Trailer (now with Trimbren 3500HD suspension)

Surprised they don't do the outdoor kitchen any longer? That's one of my complaints with the four wheel campers that they devote so much interior space to cooking which we would never use.

    EarthRoamer XV-JP "Northwest Edition"

Why not have the fridge slide out the back with a hinged access panel above? Seems a bit hectic to slide it out into the walkway where gear will be stowed?
