    **SOLD**2008 Adventure Trailer Chaser

Bump for a great guy and what looks to be a great deal on a nice trail! (See you in Ouray next July? We missed 2 years, but already have it on the 2017 calendar.)

    NR's 2007 Toyota Sequoia - Soy-Quoia Build

They are the load range E's. Wanted to be able to take it on the trails and safely tow the trailer if needed. Very happy with them so far, the snowflake rating was an added bonus on the new ko2s. What are you considering that is more aggressive than the ko2? If this is a "do-all" truck...

    NR's 2007 Toyota Sequoia - Soy-Quoia Build

Thanks for posting the build details. Look forward to following along. My wife DDs an '06. She's done a good job keeping me away from it so far! Only upgrade is +1 sized KO2s.

    Pull-out Kitchen Thread

Cool ideas! Here is a photo of the pull out kitchen I built for the front of our flatbed trailer. There are a few things I will change when I rebuild it over the winter.

    Grandby layout question

Look at the FWC website. On the grandby page they have photos showing the front dinette with the overhead bed in the stowed position. You can see the tracks for extending the bed and how much they'd cover the seating area. They have photos of the side dinette layout with the upper bed stowed...

Expedition Overland - Mackenzie Trail 2016 - On YouTube soon!

Holy mosquitoes! Awesome videos, thanks for much for sharing. FWIW, I am way more likely to consider buying General tires knowing that they sponsored the XO guys and did not make them plaster ads all over the place!

Alu-Cab Has Landed In The USA!

Just watched the video on the troopy conversion. Man that's cool! Does OK have these conversions available? Curious as to a ballpark price.

    A Hawk in the Arctic

Our hawk has a side window with awning. Can open the window pretty far, and crack the roof vent just enough to turn the fan on and this setup works well in steady rain. If it was really windy or pouring the rain I imagine the roof vent could barely be cracked before allowing water in, but...

    T-Max dual battery system opinions?

My t max setup has worked perfectly for 2.5 years now. I wish there was a manual disconnect button so that I could charge the batteries independently. The cruiser sits for extended periods and I pull the fuse between batteries to charge each individually.

Why don't i see any Thule or Yakima boxes on Overland rigs?

We've had no problems with our big Thule box pictured above. We load it with lighter weight items - our clothes bags, extra shoes, towels, sleeping bags, etc. Works just fine.

Why don't i see any Thule or Yakima boxes on Overland rigs?

We use ours on long trips when we need the storage space. They don't look super cool, but it's nice to have all the added dry storage. We couldn't fit the entire family/dog/camping gear/etc. in the 100 series without the big "attic" storage up top.

Spare / Extra Fuel - Worth Carrying? (East Coast)

I carry about 2 gallons in a 5 gallon jerry can on our trailer. It keeps me from worrying. I can't see a need to lug around any more than that.

    Post up your drawer/storage system

Yes those are the Accuride 500# locking slides, and they do require two handed operation the way the boxes you see above are built. See www.trekboxx.com for some even better work and an idea on how to install a handle next to the locking mechanism for one handed operaton. I am a huge fan of...

    A Hawk in the Arctic

I would like to know what heater unit they were using and what they were doing for ventilation at the time. Also what temp you were trying to achieve inside the camper? We just got our used Hawk a few months ago so haven't done any cold-weather camping in it yet. I've read on Wanderthewest...

Show your 1st Gen Lifted Sequoia on dirt!! no pavement please :)

Does anyone have experience with plus size tires without lifting? We have an 06 Limited and looking at either the 265/70s or 275/70s. 31.6"D vs. 32.2"D. Will either of those fit stock without rubbing? Thanks!

    Post up your drawer/storage system

I have bolts, lock washers and fender washers holding my drawer system down. These use the OEM captive nuts for the 3rd row seating. If you build your drawer system as one unit, I would just use four bolts to secure your system. I made my 100-series system with two equal halves, so I put...

Would you consider mounting a FWC Grandby Flatbed on an AT flatbed trailer?

The flatbed FWC are bigger and nicer but also weigh more and are much more expensive! I got a good deal on both the trailer and the camper used a few years old but both in great shape. The beauty of the FWC is that it is so quick and easy to setup. We can be parked and ready to go to...
