Here is our Hawk on an AT flatbed. A grandby would fit too. We love it! A flatbed FWC won't fit on the AT trailer but I'm sure you can easily find a trailer it will fit on.

There is a write up on mud where someone used the switch as a winch in and out control. They wired up some relays to it and the whole thing looked pretty slick!

No offense but MDF is a terrible choice. Lowe's sells a sheet of MDF for $31. A sheet of not-so-great-but-way better than MDF 3/4" birch ply is $50. We buy 18mm baltic birch ply from our supplier for $25 for a 5x5 sheet. Best material to use is the 15mm or 18mm BB ply. You will...

We are on our way back from a week in Maine. Everything worked pretty well except for the Fulterer heavy duty slides. Their lock out mechanism sucks and the tabs both got bent out of shape and required some gentle persuasion to work properly again. Ashame the accurides don't come in the 56"...

Prototype is built. We are off tomorrow for a week long family vacation through VT up to the ME coast and then to Aacadia. We rushed to get it done today so I don't know the weight but it is pretty heavy. Used white PVC 3/8" material on the exterior so it is mostly weatherproof for this trip.
