Great idea, especially for carrying the stuff all year. Since you are probably a young guy lifting it out might not be an issue for you.
Might even fit in a fishing rod or two.
Cook ware with handles that come off often do come off at the worst possible time. Fold up handles do the same thing, they fold up and if they fold or pivot they suck for flipping eggs and other things.
That is a nice looking able fro REI. I did get one similar from ********'s for $27 on sale with no bag cover. I made a cover from canvas that was left over from another project.
I get most of my cooking utensils from surplus sites, Bed & Bath or thrift stores. After years of backpacking with just...
I got my rotors and pads from AB. Kit came with sensors but the old ones were not in any danger of being activated any time soon, just had them installed anyway as they were in the kit.
As I am a 2nd owner of a vehicle, with 130K miles, I am in the process of replacing or fixing anything that...
Interesting vid. At least the guy has a sense of humor but I wonder how it would hold up in a wind. The caption says unedited. Truth in advertising, especially doing the front canopy.
OZ tents come in slightly different sizes. I have a RV3 and it spacious for two people. Set up is easy and it is 30 sec if you don't use the tie downs. Maybe a whole 60 sec if you do. there are add ons (sides and front panels) that give you more tent space but for an overnight they might be a...
downhill,
You don't say where you are but there is a LS in Denver now. They are probably expanding their territory a bit at a time. I also used them in Seattle and they were great for the service.
I have Treadwright tires on my Jeep Liberty and used them on my Pinzgauer for years. Good tires...
I use a small duffle with a change of clothes. Always in the LR.
Started carrying my sleeping bag and blow up mattress, just in case. Lots of winter road closures and accidents on the CO road system. Fully outfitted for few days w/ food and water too.
The duffle seems to be a bit flexible and...
I never know how serious the road or the not-road will get. I prefer to save my vehicle and rock/tree sliders are cheap insurance and a lot more replaceable than the side of my LR. It is each persons choice of what to put on or in their vehicle and the 300+ HP of the thing is more than enough to...
I also ask the question about a one person task. Certain that it helps that there is almost no fuel in the tank. Is there a drain for that operation?
Based on your post I am thinking that the fuel pump is inside the tank and can only be replaced by removing the tank. Correct?
Ouch, cold showers in cold air. You are a real he-man to try.
That solar thing is a waste if the sun isn't shining (had one) and with cold air circulating around it you might just lose the warmth of the bit of sun you get. I suppose you cold fill it with water that you heat on the stove but...
I thought it was using EMT conduit but solid rod works well for this I see. Keeping the washer from sliding seems to be the real trick in stability. Use one or two tripods for interesting application. Goes anywhere. I often camp with no trees around.
Any fire bans in CA? Doesn't seem like an issue for you about altitude since you are at sea level. Only issue might be Serrias for you, right?
No issue for me at 5 to 11 thousand feet with mine.
I quit using wood some time ago and only use the propane fires now, lots of bans in CO. and every...
I do have ratchet straps but seldom use them for soft items like equipment bags or the OZ tent.
I use 3/8 inch rubber rope, the same type used on highway travel semi rigs. Stays tight and you can put on the end anything you like, hook or ring to make them a loop end type strap.
I have a Front...
