looks like you guys found a nice one and had fun :)
we actually went up saturday too - we may have even passed each other at some point!

as is our yearly tradition, we went up on the Mogollon Rim to get our Christmas tree from the NF (legally) this past weekend: http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showpost.php?p=38125&postcount=973
agreed on the EQ! i also switched to a Sony BM10 BT adapter, from the Kinivo BTC450 and i can actually hear an improvement in the fullness of the sound. i think the Sony has a higher quality DAC in it and also seem to put out a stronger line out as the volume increased just by changing the...
i love my tablet setup, but i think a dedicated GPS unit is always going to be much simpler for someone that isn't technical at all. Garmin makes nice stuff. traditionally the on-road Nuvi style didn't do everything most off-roaders wanted, not sure if they've bridged that gap or not yet. i know...

my parents were out from the east coast last week to visit so i took them on a day trip, mini trip report here: http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showpost.php?p=37741&postcount=956
right now i need to get my rock rail outer hoops redone when i have some cash (the axle thing killed my Jeep fund). next i want to do a rear bumper & tire carrier. and then one-day i'll get around to a front bumper - i have to buy a winch first as i want to cut out the existing center section...
Catalina & Oracle areas this weekend...
great camping weather.
everyone seemed to enjoy watching Napoleon Dynamite on the projector system.
trip report here: http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3919
thanks, 07 JK Rubicon axles with 5.13's, RCV front and Superior rear shafts. the front somehow managed to crack the long side tube, even with it being sleeved. had to have it retubed - trussed it this time and used a thicker tube instead of sleeving it.
waiting on new spring isolators and RCV rebuild kits, hopefully have it all back together wednesday and can go on a trip this weekend down near tucson - it's been too long since i've wheeled!
