Thanks, Railriders has something close. I changed my google search to "river shorts" and found these from Moutain Khaki for $65. This is what I'm looking for, maybe without so many pockets. I basically want something to slop in the river with, that can take a beating, but uses a regular belt.

What does that do to your oil pressure? My 4.0 is a rear sump and it starves for oil if idlling nose down for too long.

I am looking for some water shorts that are quick drying, heavy duty, abrasion resistant, but without a built in belt. I saw the TAD shorts in another thread but they appear discountinued. What have you seen?

EFI hands down. I have done a bunch of engine swaps, with EFI you plug and play, something's wrong, read a code, done. EFI runs all day, doesn't load up, starts on hills, etc, etc, etc. Carbs are nostalgic though, kind of like a typewriters:sombrero:

I just had my 3rd failure of a Warn Premium hub (part #20990). The last one had less than 500 miles on it. The failures have all occured offroad. They are always unlocked on the street. My axle has a detroit locker. Do I just have bad luck? Do you have something beyond "premium" in terms...
