AT Overland Dodge with FWC Flatbed Camper

Great idea to use the aircraft track as a frame for the box. I thought it would be cool (no pun intended) to have a second fridge on a tumbo tux slide stored in a bed box. One fridge in the camper and one in the box passenger side for use in camp.

    Chevy Caprice Camper

Wow. Cant imagine the looks driving down the road in that. It would almost be fun to buy it just for the shock factor. I am certain you would meet a bunch of people on your travels. $20K invested... I wonder if it was one of those... while we are in there fixing the transmission... what if...

    AT Tacoma Habitat: Official Thread

Very interested to see the pricing on the canvas room enclosure. Also, thinking of that enclosure it would be great if it has room for a rear swing out to fit inside it. For instance, with the tail gate down and the swing out deployed (e.g. with a fold down counter), it would be great to have...

    2013 Sprinter OSV For Sale

I was reading your blog and noticed you mentioned that your Sprinter fits in a parking space even though its a 170. I thought only the 144 at 19 feet fit in a regular spot. We are debating a 144 vs 170, so I am interested to hear your real world experience with the 170. It sounds like it...

    AT Tacoma Habitat: Official Thread

The price seems reasonable compared to a pop-up camper. With that price and even a Goose Gear interior you could build an awesome setup for under $15K. Pros and cons to both of course, but I think a nicely built Habitat/Flippac, like TacoDoc's for example, is a roomier, more flexible setup...

Bliss Mobil-Exciting New Expedition Vehicle Company

That grey 11 foot Unimog looks awesome. Looking at the spec requirements it looks like a long wheelbase Fuso could work for an 11 or 13 food cabin. In theory one could buy the box and have them ship it here for install or go there have it installed and ship it back after some travel. Compared...

    Doc's AT FlipPac Build Thread

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for (general cost and weight estimate). There are definitely pros and cons to Flip-pac/Habitat vs Pop-up vs. other alternatives that need to be worked through, but this info helps a lot.
