What's the reason for the extendable tongue? I've thought of doing the same to allow for a canoe on top of the trailer.

I think a person would be better off finding 60's or earlier stoves and lanterns. coleman.com has parts to completely rebuild them. It might be a little more money than buying new Coleman, but quality and "coolness" factor is higher.

AndrewP, looks like a Snowpeak cook set and cast iron. That's on my list of upgrades. Older Coleman stoves and lanterns are the best. I have 2 stoves and a lantern from the 90's. Work ok, but thinner metal and less stout hinges than 60's stuff.

I assume you bought it used? Try to find an REI store near you. Maybe someone there can help identify it. You're missing one side of the hip belt right? It might be easier to make one. REI has all kinds of straps and buckles.

This has been said several times. It's important to make sure the timing belt and water pump have been changed. Manual calls for replacement every 105k miles. These are an interference engine, meaning if the belt breaks, expensive damage will result. I've been very happy with my 95. Reasonable...
