According to my UPS tracking # they should be in my driveway when I get home from work:ylsmoke: Holding my breath to see if they screwed me somehow, wrong size, etc.
they are suposed to be available again on May 21 from what i've found. i ordered a set of 35s from discount tire direct today. they are supposed to be a my place by the 24th. i hope they make, we have a big poker run on June 5th
So yes it was the thermo sensor. Thanks for the tips. After talkng with hoaks 4x4 (warn winch service), the early winches have a aluminum sensor, the new sensors are nickle. the new sensor was $9. It is very easy to change. you just take off the end cap of the motor (2 bolts), take out a set...
This is a Krylon Desert Tan rattle can job. It sees a lot of heavy brush and mud and has held up very well. It sleeps in the garage so I'm not sure how much weathering you'd see from sun and rain. I painted over a good, intact, factory paint.
one huge benefit is that if you scuff it on a...
for trail clearing I most often use the winch and a snatch block to pull trees off the trail. It's an art to find the best anchor for pulling. I keep an axe all the time as well. If I know I will be cutting many or large trees, I bring a chain saw.
My winch wont pull in intermittenly, when it happens the thermo light comes on. The winch is not hot at all. It runs cable out fine. I'm thinking this is either a short in the controller or the thermo switch is bad in the winch. Would it run out cable with a bad thermo switch in the winch?
Not sure where to put this post...Do any of you guys take throwing knives to camp? When I was kid, my brotherinlaw would always set up a target and we'd spend hours at it. We would thow at playing cards. There was some kind of scoring system that i can't recall. I haven't done it in years...
I don't know how I missed this thread... jsut caught the show last night. I was impressed with the brute. Engine swaps are always trouble but if anythng was going to overheat or go bang it would have happened plowing snow like that:ylsmoke: Looks like they built a solid truck.
The stock mount (YJ,TJ,JK) has the tire kind of low. It's good for visiblity but I was running a 35 spare on my mine and dropped off a ledge. I severly bent (destroyed) the tailgate and broke out the rear glass. I now have a high mounted swingout and have no had any similar problems.
I have a mountain hardware that I loved, it had reinforced elbows, pit zips, hood, etc. Unfortunately I got to fat for it:costumed-smiley-007 I have been looking but can't find anything similar.
I would think with 5-6 adult size people, a mesh top is going to be a must. With condensation it will be raining inside the tent otherwise. I would get everyone a good sleeping bag and keep your existing tent.
the "it's all in how you raise them argument" comes from people that don't understand dogs. You need to pick a breed with the energy and temperment that complements your family. the best family pets have no human agression and low or no dog agression. Not saying you shouldn't pick a husky...
