FUN FACTS...
I've been researching this a lot lately...
For almost all Rams 2500/3500/4500/5500, if you look up their OEM fuel tank part numbers for both the gas and diesel, they're 100% identical.
They use the same tank for both gas and diesel in a ton of models (not sure if ALL)...
FWIW, on my 5 week trip to Yukon and Alaska in Sept, I saw more AM brand truck campers than anything else by probably a 20:1 ratio.
Seem to be what’s used on almost all the CAN and Alaska based rental fleets. I’m guessing there’s a reason.
Looked pretty dang stout
Serious question, why does it matter if it makes him happy?
Personally, I get 5 weeks off a year and usually hit the road, this year I spent most of it in BC and a little in Alaska.
Next one, I might actually transition into living in it
Exactly... I did a 5 week trip up in Alaska/Canada this September in my Tundra and FWC. Was solo and it was a bit cramped for that long of a trip.
Also, crossed paths with a ton of folks in Tacoma’s and 4Runners that would comment along the lines of “I need something like that next time I do...

I'm 99.3% sure i've seen this around San Diego

Was there a couple hours and didnt see anyone coming or going out of it to pick their brain.
For the market they're trying to...
Why not? Used them on 3 different rigs that saw lots of abuse without a single issue. If im out of the truck adjusting the tires, i'll be adjusting the suspension too. What so you determine to be "set up right?" and why?
There is really very little to service or maintain with a bag system if you arent running all the fancy sensors, and such..
A good quality heavy duty replacement firestone bag is around $200+/-, a 10ft length of air hose is around $20. You can easily carry both in your rig without taking up...
Lots of opinions on this, some valid, some complete BS. Everyone is entitled to their opinions of course.
Big rigs wouldn't be hauling massive loads on our freeways if airbags were problematic and unsafe.
It all boils down to quality of product, quality of installation, and proper usage.
