25-50 bucks for a shackle reciever plug is a pretty inexpensive recovery point IMHO. It might be worth it to just get one of those.

From what I've read it says that the SX700R does both FRS and GMRS. I just ordered a pair of the SX900R for 49 bucks shipped from Amazon.

Most of the guys that I travel with use FRS so its really a better choice for me, I'll have to do some research and see whats out there :)

Took these yesterday

They are 285/75/16 BFGs, previous owner put them on there, too big for my tastes hence my PMs about the treadwrights ;) When I first got the truck it had 2" spacers on it as well and the previous owner didn't actually wheel it (mall cruiser) so he had no rubbing issues, I removed the spacers...

I gotcha, I was confused by the SIII 88 part, I though it was a 1988 model, it is in fact a 1977 SII 88 (assuming thats the wheelbase?). Either way beautiful truck!
