My first job out of college in 04 was doing pipline survey (basically a paid offroading job) and one of our company trucks was an old Nissan hardbody, I was really impressed with that truck, it would go anywhere :)
When I first bought it, the previous owner had halfa$$ installed a Safari snorkel. It had the outside stuff, but was rigged up under the hood and I didn't like the way it was done. Yanked it off and installed a factory airbox, new fender is in the works.

I spent a semester at Northland College in upstate WI, which has a large wolf population. Slept outside on the ground with nothing more than a sleeping pad and bag many a night and never had any problems. As others have stated the two-legged animal is by far the most dangerous.
