    FG538 Super Singles in Canada

I will attempt to make a couple of phone calls (to Alan) on Monday to help you sort this out. They look to be the standard nuts that are supplied with his wheels. I believe when Canter went after FG649 that they changed wheel bolt size to 20 mm before then my measuring stick (calipers) say they...

    FG538 Super Singles in Canada

I would get onto Earthcruiser in the States as I believe they are the agent for those wheels over there and should be able to help you. Email to Outback Accessories should have got you an answer. I would address it " Attention ALAN ". Dan.

    4WD Truck So Bogged!

It's an Isuzu. Yea, I know not a good joke. Quick sand in parts of beaches is quite common. I can say that it probably hasn't been smashed on the rocks, the wave action is all that is needed to rip a vehicle apart. Dan.

Anyone repack their own wheel bearings?

Do my own all the time. Don't really need special tools other than the spanner to undo the hub bearing nuts. "In a pinch" you can by using a hammer and punch. The job is easy to do but can be messy, That thread above shows a home made hub nut spanner similar to the one I made and use. Dan.

    Stock Fuso Wheels SRW

That's how they use to do it. Can't tell you if they had too much in problems other than cracked rims. Don't think it will make any difference in fuel economy running singles or duals but certainly if you are trying to run larger tyres they may kiss in between the tyres and cause some problems...

    Best years

Precomputer/electronic is around 1998 -2002 ( FG637 ) with a non turbo 4.2 litre engine. Fg649 still has a computer in the injection pump which does give some trouble at times, yes some are precommon rail. The 4.2 litre engine does need a turbo fitting to it to make it a lot better to drive...

Build your own Fuso FG6 4x4 based camper/overlander!

This 60% rule is only for Australian registered vehicles. I believe that if you bring a vehicle registered in another country you need to comply with their law so you may not have to worry about the 60% rule. Worth checking it out. What I believe, Dan.

Welcome to the forum. Your not the only one that does not do Facebook believe me. Earlier model Canter with Coil Suspension would be one of the better buys to have. I've not had any experience with coil suspension. Should be a really good ride and my belief is, it is probably not sitting taller...

    4D33 Cracked exhaust manifold

I was looking around on Ebay and found this which is the size Turbo that I'm going to try. At the moment I'm running a TDO5-16G and believe that a TDO6-16G is probably going to be a better size. The larger size exhaust wheel should spin up faster at lower revs than what I'm running now. It is...
