factory jack with a 4x6 block of oak timber works well for me IN the van. home i use a floor jack which is barely adequate, need to buy a bigger one

probably more so caused by leaky fuel lines, #1 thing that should be addressed when you buy a new vanagon, replace those fuel lines people.
