Good video on the new Montero Sport. Looks aren't my favorite (the current model looks great IMHO) but for a modern vehicle it's not bad. If Mitsu brings a SUV to the US market (which I think is the way they are headed) I bet this will be it.

Looking for a spare tire carrier to swap on to my 01 Sport. They came on some 97/98 sports and mount to the rear 1/4 and bumper. If anyone comes across one in a junkyard please let me know. There are a number of pieces that I likely need to complete the swap. Can't seem to find one locally.
I'm looking at ordering a stock rear carrier for my 01 3.5 Sport (going from open to the hybrid LSD) and am looking through the FSM. Is it really necessary to completely disconnect the rear calipers and pull the axle shafts (at which point I might as well replace all the seals, bearings etc) or...
As part of my continued pursuit towards a simpler, lighter and more compact setup I am looking at replacing my Coleman two burner (with 1lb bottles) to a single burner and a single carbon steel pan (plus kettle).
What I would really like is a very stable single burner that uses white/coleman...
So I'm tossing around the idea of selling my 2001 Montero Sport and picking up a Mighty Max. My 4wd is now my second vehicle and a pickup is just so much more useful in that regard. I am also considering a Toyota Pickup (had before) or Nissan Hardbody so comparisons are very helpful. I would...
I get asked about my camp kitchen on occasion so I figured I would post this up as they have been out of stock for a loooooong time now. They're back (for who knows how long) and on sale for under $100...
I love mine, can keep a coleman two burner + multiple 1lb propane bottles plus all...
Ok so not really a build.....but I picked up a 09 Honda Fit Sport and will likely be selling my 2001 Montero Sport. After moving out east I've realized I don't really need 4wd, 32's, low range and huge clearance around here. 40mpg, 5 speed, and plenty of cargo space should be just the...
Well it's time to tackle my front wheel bearings on my Sport. I have adjusted them before which worked for quite awhile but at 130k miles on the stockers it's probably time to replace them. My front brakes are fine but it doesn't cost much for parts so I'm going to go ahead and replace the front...
Picked this up yesterday.......been trying to find a clean Chinook but have been thwarted by cig smoke, rust, and rot at every turn. This popped up on the local CL so I went for a look/drive. Virtually rot free, no rust, ridiculously low miles. The rear axle has not been upgraded so I have to...
Anyone looked at the DB Hannjo Flatbar? Looking for a do it all bike (except mountain biking in truly rough stuff) and this looks like a decent option. Thoughts?
Considering selling my 1999 BMW F650. It has just under 13k miles, good Michelin Anakee tires, Held tail bag (expandable), BMW rear pannier rack (no luggage), Givi tinted windscreen, SW Motech tank ring, new spark plugs, contoured factory seat (comfy and zero rips or tears), brand new ignition...
So my Sport has a tendency to display temp about a 1/4 way below the hot/max over shooting the halfway quite a bit. This only happens on long highway drives or when it's really hot out. The thermostat is a new mitsu one and didn't change the result at all. It's also a known issue with the gauge...
Nice to see this happening as subscriptions are so costly when the reality is that the device ends up being used/needed only occasionally.
