Light duty winches (ATV) on small to medium sized 4x4s.

I had a Chevy 3/4-ton 4x4 Suburban trail rig years ago. I ran electrical connectors to both ends of the vehicle, and had 2" square receivers at both ends, as well as a third one inside the cargo area in the back. I had a single 9,000-pound Warn winch mounted to a receiver mount, and kept it in...

    Where can I shoot?

A baseball bat carried for the purpose of defending yourself, is legally considered a "deadly weapon" in every state I've ever lived or worked in. From Idaho, for example:

    Truck Mounted Toy Hauler

It is a little over 13 feet tall right now. Once we get the solar panels installed, it will be just under 13'6" tall. We look down into 18-wheel tractor-trailer rigs on the highway. It is rated at 4.5 mpg. We just did a 2,000+ mile four-day trip, with my foot to the floor the whole way...

    Truck Mounted Toy Hauler

The drawbridge is powered by a pair of 3,500-pound winches with automatic load holding. When horizontal, it is our back porch. When it is depressed below horizontal, a 9-foot motorcycle ramp can be used on the end of it to reach the ground. We have a third winch for pulling motorcycles up the...

    Truck Mounted Toy Hauler

The truck is a 2007 Oshkosh MTVR. It weighed about 30,000 pounds empty, and has a GVWR of 62,200 pounds, giving it a payload capacity of 30,000 pounds. It was an armored gun truck attached to a Marine special forces unit, so it has run flat inserts in the 53" tall tubeless Michelin radial tires...

"E-bike" mopeds more dangerous than motorcycles?

I'm not concerned about a lack of noise- I'm concerned about the lack of proper safety gear, lack of the vehicle's ability to turn/brake/accelerate as well as competent motorcycles, and the fact that "e-bike" moped operators are not required to demonstrate ANY riding skill at all before being...

Can we get a separate "E-bike/Moped" forum?

E-bikes are a type of moped. Some states have different laws for that particular type of moped, so they've had to come up with different labels for them, and those different labels don't always make sense- for example, the restricted motor scooters that many states label as "mopeds", are not...

    Where can I shoot?

That's smart thinking, but the best solution is always going to depend upon where you are. In some places, purchasing/possessing/carrying ANY handgun is a problem for civilians, even if it's a wheel gun. And in New Jersey, hollow-point ammunition is illegal for civilians outside of their home...
