Doesn't more cross members strengthen the frame regardless of metal type?

Do your brakes fully lock up?

I am confused to what lock up means. If one sets the correct gain the trailer brakes alone should stop the trailer without skidding the tires. At 15 mph

Do your brakes fully lock up?

Assuming you have a mid size truck you may have an aftermarket brake controller? Same principles setting gain

Do your brakes fully lock up?

Are you talking trailer brakes that are powered through your 7 pin connector to a brake controller module in your Colorado or the emergency brake cable that is hooked to your hitch to stop the trailer if you loose it off your truck?

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

I would think you could fight that. No one paid 85k for a d15. Seams like dealers and mfgers come up with these inflated msrp to show ridiculous discounts. To my knowledge no agencies monitor msrp like the auto industry

    Chassis Design

I am trying to understand which of so many different chassis designs out there are the most rugged for off road trailers. I have attached two pictures one is an aluminum C channel chassis with multiple cross members. The other is carbon steel closed tube powder coated with very few cross...

    Boreas Campers EOS12

I will follow up that my experience with Zamp is the 100 watt portable obdesian suite case model. I have two unregulated kits that are custom wired to a Furion plug and Victron controler. I feel like the Go Power portables are not the quality of my custom Zamps. I have been told the 100 watt...

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

My apologies ROA is doing a "white label " dweller called the ROA'D. Not sure the difference of a 2022/23 Dweller but it was mentioned in a recent yt vid as a 2024 unit. All warranty is thru ROA on the ROA'D Model. Maybe it a mod'ed out 23 or possibly a way for ROA to still sell new 2024...

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

Very true alway two or more sides to every story. I do speculate that going direct to customers may hurt customer service and warranty issues. Any idea how would warranty claims work for a direct customer in Bar Harbor Maine?

    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

No ROA puts thier Roamer 1 lable on an Imperial Outdoors x195 trailer. It's the same trailer with thier name and a few upgrades. Same with the Roamer X but the mfger is High Altitude Trailer Company. They were a dealer for OBI / Conqueror and still have inventory to sell. Interior crack is I...

Probably thier only choice is to go direct to customer. OBi won't work with or dealer won't work with OBI?
