In the very bottom left of picture I see what appears to be VIN with no numbers after it.
Was it not listed with your bill of sale. Regardless of blow out price a dealer is not allowed to sell without vin in AZ right.
I have lost what little faith I ever had in OBI
I was surprised that the Boreas is only 150 pounds heavier considering the extra weight of cruise master suspension and Gray tank. The gvw rating is considerably higher. Tounge weight is a bit more to. Have you weighed your fully loaded.
If you add all options on G12 it's 62k ish US $.
That's...
Thoughts on BRS Pursuit: Three big negatives. It's $10,000 per linear foot of the box. That blows my circuit breaker just thinking about it. Not really sure if the US manufacturer has built very many of them. Tad heavy. Huge star gazzer window that will likely leak.
Kimberley Karavan is an...
Great points Re. Full disclosure I have not seen either trailer in person and I bet you have. To me the difference of these two trailers is :
Boreas has interior wet bath and gray tank. It has a more robust suspension (three times the cost of Timbren). Victron are high quality.
Arkto is...
Been watching some vids on your NJStar. Lots of them which is a good thing. Those rear stab jacks are interesting. You might have to make some changes on the propane system?
One thing that I am suspect on is the 1,300 kg (2,800 lb) dry weight. I assume that's dry weight. If so what is the gwr? This is likely not a factor depending on your tow vehicle.
My first thought was man you are brave. But with your mechanical prowess and the fact you are communicating so well with the MFGer my guess is you will obtain a trailer that fits all your needs at 50 cents on the dollar. It's all about the journey man.
So I saw guy post a vid on the Tribe Trailer owners public FB page. I don't want to embarrass this guy but I wonder if folks get a little over zealous watching roa and the like YT videos of off road trailers going a bit to loose and fast on off road terrain. ROA usually does this with an empty...
So 5k for advice and getting into the queue for upgrades that likely void warranty that you have to pay for over and above the 5k and you get to be a Roamer? Boy I personally would take a hard pass on that deal. Camping with a huge group of people defeats the purpose of getting away especially...
If you don't have toys to haul what else do you like about the toyhauler models? Kingdom Camping like Treefarmer has does make a 20 foot single axel that is fairly light. How big of a box do you need?
Last I heard is they were seeking funding and I believe that was last spring. Not looking good for RKS. If your wanting the Motive toy hauler type trailer try Rover Offroad out of Twin Falls, ID.
I think it comes down to your skills and free time to complete mods yourself. I think you will have to be prepared to the possibility that OBI flooded the market and the warranties could really bring them down. If you could find one at a fire sale for under 35k it may be worth it.
