by repair are you just wanting to close up the hole? or are you thinking of a way to make it look new again? you can sew a patch on the inside or outside or maybe even use a gear aid patch or similar tenacious tape type patch. there isn't a lot that can be done to fix a hole other than that...

unless you find one randomly for sale online that is cheap, there is no such thing as far as I can tell. Its hard to even find one for sale let alone cheap. honestly if you put a couple strips of say 2-3" wide and 1/8" thick stainless across it to prop up a stove it will work mostly the same though

with cast iron it shouldn't need a burn off like the half grill plate which is coated steel. that being said all my cast iron gets a wash and a seasoning cycle before i cook on it just to make sure the surface is in good order for food
