Haha thanks stomperxj, I actually got quite a bit of inspiration from your SawTooth build - loved that one. The tail light holders came from ebay from a vendor called "closertowholesale". If you search for "Double White 6" Oval Mounting Boxes for LED Brake Stop Turn Tail Lights" they should...

    DRE's New FWC Project

Nice, lots of storage with that bed setup. Good call on holding off on the exhaust. Speaking of, I know you'll be losing the underbody tire so if you weren't putting anything else under there like a water tank or something you may want to consider routing the exhaust out the rear driverside...

Well you are consistent with your rim selection, I'll give ya that. They should fit great with a 4" lift, I think I had read back when my dad had his 350 that the Super Duty can take close to a 33" tire stock. I never could talk him into building it tho.... I could be game for Sunday if you...

    DRE's New FWC Project

As far as GVWR it never made much sense to me, the Tacoma GVWR is 5,500# but was 5,700#+ on the scales over the summer before the rear bumper went on and without any camping gear. Figure once sliders and skids go on and camping gear is loaded up it'll be well over 6,000# before adding trailer...

FS: AT Combo Slide with Stove

Interested in what shipping options you have locally out there; I quoted UPS and FedEx with what I think your zip would be and it looks like it's about $100 to my zip of 08037. This is the setup I've been eyeing for a little while so I'd appreciate some feedback on shipping options.

Likewise Pat, I'm diggin' your stargazing window, side table/kitchen setup and Foxwing! Perhaps I'll nab some ideas ;)

Not particularly though I know the tongue weight was increased from before. I'm not a big guy but I could still scoot the trailer around in my work area by hand with the bike on it so I'd guesstimate the tongue weight to be around 225lb to 275lb. The trailer w/ bike should be around 2,500lb so...

Running behind on the updates again so here's a quick recap since April! Took a trip down the Skyline Drive in June: Picked up a new toy and fabbed a way to carry it: Put on some miles at the Mid Atlantic Overland Festival! Spotted by an eagle-eyed driver on 76! Taking in...

Smittybilt Awning for Sale $150 OBO, Local Pick up Philadelphia, PA

Bummer, I just did some research on the sizing and it's not going to work on my rig like I need. I was thinking it was like the ARB 2000 that's ~6' along the mount and ~8' coverage out from the vehicle. Bump for a good deal tho!

I hear ya Don, it's been a busy winter for the truck and trailer for me! Definitely looking forward to getting out there this weekend and doing some camping. And too much time on the cycles? Is that a real problem?? :roost:
