I'm calling BS on the TJ comparison because my TJ buddies tell me everytime they are in my LR3 how awesome the ride is! I recently did 500 miles in a TJ and it was bone stock and couldnt wait to get back in my LR3. Is that bad? NO, but they do not compare because they are two different...
Thanks for the links.....I'll check them out when I get around to ordering new fronts. Still have not decided on coil conversion yet because I love the EAS and ride quality so much.
Concur.....shocks and poly bushings. Poly bushings reduce ride quality significantly over my experience.....performance is most likely increased but longevity and ride quality is debated across the board in almost every vehicle I ran them in. I decided when i rebuilt my suspension that Factory...
To caveat off DiscoDavis, I believe the "cutting" means the fender tabs and wheel well fairings and covers. Thus far, all of these bumpers as stated appear to have a similar install process with NO FRAME cutting involved, just trimming of plastic and metal fender tab cutting.
The rear TR is...

I purchased the "Black TECH" material. Its more modern than the carpet look for my liking. Velcro doesnt stick to it like the carpet version but still works great for all of my purposes. Anything Velcro I've stuck to it...
Very true on the weight. When I build my platform I plan to drill lightening holes to try and reduce some of the bulk.
I was looking at aluminum laminated panels with honeycomb and it just wasn't durable enough to really walk on long term.
I also searched around to see if I could find who...
Yeah I'm not seeing it either! I'm curious to know where the valve block and washer bottle modification fits in. I wonder if it has any interference near the winch at the front cross member and radiator support frame????

Connor,
Do you have any experience with fiberglass? If so, here is my suggestion and a trade we use here in hawaii for marine grade. Buy the 1/2 marine grade plywood and cut and drill to your specs. Then rough grain sand it and layer fiberglass fine weave over it in two layers with the...
I see a serious design flaw in this camping set-up; and that flaw is that I now have to go and redesign my own camping set up for something like this in my D3! :Wow1::wings::wings::wings:
Dude, that is a bada$$ set-up! Oh, and loving the Cummins swap idea too!

Concur on the diff fluid.....if its is really bad in there, one flush is not going to get everything out. On a second note, did you submerge the diffs anytime after the change? It only takes getting wet once through leaking or submerge breather to cloud the diff oil and NEED a change.
As far...
I feel like that is a lot of work when you can buy a new console for way cheaper than upgrading the parts and probably get the same life out of it. Having my interior out led me to believe the swap of the dash is not that hard, just a matter of is it worth it in the end. I have a cheap cover...
I have the exact same one and just let it sit up there and it never moves. Every few months I take it out and stretch it because it does shrink about an inch on the sides from the heat. One of the best and cheapest purchases I made to hide a significant design flaw.........honestly it looks...
Can anyone help school me up on the history of this vehicle? I've seen this vehicle running around the islands for years and due to misfortune (death of the owner), the family is set to sell. The owner daily drove this Series and towed his boat to the ramp almost everyday. I know it is a...
