Completely different roof design. I’m sure you could put a pop Top on anything if you had the money and didn’t mind the safety factor behind cutting into the major support structure of the LR3. I think we all dreamt of this at one time or another but unless it was a complete trail rig, I would...
You can get all custom parts from Ballistic Fabrication and make your own for dirt cheap as well. They have high angle washers, spacers, bevel spacers and anything you can think of. Since you are a savvy fab guy and can weld, this is a great option.
I made a set for my old Excursion for less...
"I've received enough medical training" --- said no smart person EVER!
Looks like a great set up. We put on an off-road training and medical package for our NGO staff before they fly over to their sites in Africa. We try and get over their for annual refresh in country as well.
It's good to...
Awesome thanks. I was thinking of doing the same thing and using aluminum or steel channel. My only concern is to make sure the fridge stays bolted down in an accident and doesn't become a projectile! ------as to not spill the tasty beverages inside of course. Hahahhahah
Thanks for the...
Mounting options!
Okay so my fridge is here and I have not even taken it out of the box due to my house renovation project. What are forum members using to mount the baseplate to the floor in your center seat configuration? I have the NL baseplate and am looking to make some custom mounts that...
In my recent chats with FR, they told me they had an impossible uphill journey to get DOT approval on the tanks so that's the reason they don't offer them in the US. I can understand their concern for liability, but I still want one. Lol
Yeah for sure. Not saying I want an SVO. I think it's a great sales item for peeps who like that. When I roll it to the big time, I'll buy a sweet RR off the showroom floor with all the whistles.
Until then, I'm sticking to my lovely LR3 and dreaming of a 110 three-door. No SVO desires for...
Sounds like a great setup you have going. Just remember on the winch, another few snatch blocks changes the pull load so you can single or double up snatchblocks and reduce the pull load significantly. I am not currently running a winch but plenty of winch time in my old work life. Snatchblocks...
Does anyone really think SVO anything is marketed for off-road? No chance, but you can bet your booty that those things will sell like its nobody's business! None will make it off-road but they will sell for sure to the many peeps that buy RR now for the bling factor.
This is the precursor...
Ding ding. You are correct Sir! NL Weekender 50l split fridge/freezer.
Thanks to all who helped me make the choice. Probably won't get it open for a few days since I have a house Reno project going.
Any ideas what's in the box?
Oh snap! Look what the wind blew in!
Stoked to open this bad mamma jamma up and start my install! Anyone have any ideas what's in the box?
