    Will a JKU on 35s fit on a U-haul trailer ?

Measure the width of the front wheels from outside to outside, if it's less than 76" you will fit.

    Jeep Liberty pickup

The roof is off. Drove around the driveway a little bit, so far so good. I have a sunroof in my Liberty, the roof reinforcement that is between the B-pillars in non sun roof models does not exist in mine, looks like the sunroof frame contributes greatly to the structural rigidity of the unibody...

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

Did not get a chance to attach the trail rated badge to Suburban, will do it when it's a little warmer but I did get a new OEM bumper, grill and fenders on the Liberty. We had an inch of snow last night and my kids convinced me to get out in the yard and drive around in the snow. I...

    Last 2500 Suburban

Burb One, I have snow coming tonight, have to clean up the yard and driveway a little. I'll see if I can run the front end up some ramps and get a couple pics for you. The company that did these is from southern California, they have a contract to do skid plates for BP trucks, do not remember...

warrpath4x4, I was secretly hoping that no one would notice. Ddone and done, but thank you for your generous offer. Stay tuned for more shenanigans!

    Jeep Liberty pickup

It has begun! Gutting everything from B-pillar back. Removed everything that I though was not necessary from the B-pillar back. Managed to loose approximately 319 pounds so far. Rear seats and carpet came out. All plastic trim came came out. I am keeping the rear DC power socket, I am...

    Last 2500 Suburban

hg1027, BP is not to blame here, all their components were replaced with Moog from what I could tell. I also replaced both upper and lower front control arms/ball joints with DetroitAxle parts immediately when I got the Suburban. So the control arms that were mentioned in the previous post were...

    Jeep Liberty pickup

Vinman, I found them on LostJeep forum, and it was a serious pain in the butt to go through all the photobucket backdoors to get these so I could post them, it was not easy. But now anyone including you can save them and re-post as much as they want. Back to this green little gem, where in the...

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

Just about every badge has been removed from my Suburban. I both like the clean look of painted sheet metal as well as the mystery and the guessing game of exactly what I am driving. I was prepping my Jeep Liberty body panels for paint and pulled the trail rated badge off. Just to confuse...

    Last 2500 Suburban

hg1027, No, never put rock sliders on however I still do have the border patrol underbelly tubular frame cage that I can bolt skid plate to. I've been too busy and laze to pull it off. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, I had to pull the plug on doing anything to the...

    Jeep Liberty pickup

Here are a couple pictures from the Jeep that inspired the idea of my build. It was a pain in the butt to find them on photobucket, but here are a couple that are not watermarked and free for everyone to share. I will be removing the spare tire and spare tire carrier both to save weight...

    Jeep Liberty pickup

Vinman, YES!!! I saw that one too and really like it. The only thing I would change about that one is how much of the bed he boxed in, I want to keep the edge of the fenders over the wheel wells as usabale space. Stay tuned for more shenanigans!

    Jeep Liberty pickup

I am building this pickup on the KJ Forum however they are having a very difficult time accepting the fact that I am turning a Liberty into a fully functional pickup. I had axtremely good feedback building my Suburban here on ExPo and here we go with the Jeep! I finally got my first Jeep and...

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

Jeep owners are weird and I can so see why. Finally driving the Jeep without getting stuck and getting pulled out by my Suburban. My pickup is freaken awesome, does what I need it to, easy to work on, even fun in a yard tractor kinda a way, but parts are ridiculously expensive even the made...

    Suburban roof rack questions.

ejwebb, I love the look of Z71 taller side rails but while they offer higher OEM load rating than the lower profile black rails they keep the load much higher. I would not attach an RTT or even an empty ski box for factory cross bars. They are too flimsy and as yo pointed out wiggle and wobble...

    Suburban roof rack questions.

wagoneerguy, GM reccomends 150 lbs or less on factory cross bars. So 200 or less sounds reasonable, but you would also have to take into account the weight of the vehicle. I would not want more than 200 pounds on the roof of my Liberty but comfortable with 800 pounds on the roof of Suburban. I...

    Suburban roof rack questions.

ejwebb, I beg to differ, factory non Z71 rack is just fine for just about any load you will ever want to put on the roof of your Suburban if you put it together correctly. My current setup, 6 years and still going strong. Regularly load it with 600-800lbs on top of the 150lbs of the ski box...

    Suburban roof rack questions.

Found it! Here is link to my roof rack install. GMT800 and GMT900 share exactly the same roof rack hole pattern, so you can run a 2000-2006 Z71 roof rack to really turn some heads. https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/last-2500-suburban.203815/page-5#post-2617566 Hope this helps. Good luck
