Everytime I see 37's on these vans, I am always drawn to the rear fender opening and think, "How is that tire going to fit up in the wheel well?" I always laugh when I see a truck with big tires and a huge lift that has less wheel travel than it did stock. And... after picking up a 35" Toyo MT...
Damn!! You guys really are in a hurry...
Chris- "Sweep that damn floor, jump on the go kart, and throw that dirt in the dumpster!"
Dude better shave that beard like a Olympic swimmer if he wants to cut his relay time down...
I LIKE THE NAME! Gotta say it like the movie too...
Seriously tho, why can't I be paid "by the view" for my VANdiana thread? 421,000+ views and counting... That's over 100,000 views since I sold the Big Guy to Jeremy... Glad to have steered you the right way.
Jeremy,
What will your interior cubby framework consist of in regards to construction? Ply, metal tubing, aluminum extrusion... etc? Are all of the white "containers" removable or do some represent fixed storage such as drawers or cabinets? One of the things that gave me fits when trying to...
Could be. Doesn't appear that the driveshaft was lengthened when it was lifted, so that would cause the slip yoke to be pulled out further. That in turn would decrease spline contact. Gonna pull it later and grease the splines and see if that helps.
Jack,
Have you had the driveline slip yoke clunk issue yet? Mine started clunking out of the blue today. Thought my t-case was shot at first, but I am pretty sure it's the slip yoke.
Thx,
Brad
Looking forward to your thoughts on the FR rack. What size did you go with? I was thinking the 53" x 85.3" would work best with my Leer topper, along with the 40mm feet.
Fantastic! You will not regret it. And, being able to do a direct comparison between the different 4wd conversions is not something everyone can do. A short before and after video segment might be in order...
When you get to this point, if you don't already have a home for your current rear bumper, let me know. I'd be interested in trying to fit that beast on my truck.
Wow! Nice work on the bed slide and tire carrier. I'd love to see some additional pics of the carrier if you get a chance. I am in the process of figuring out a solution for my spare as well.
Thx,
Brad
