    WTB- 2001 steering wheel!

I had a great experience with "Wheel Skins." The brown matched the 100 perfectly and I'm picky. The partially perforated matches the original Toyota pattern well. They'll send you samples of the leather textures and color for free. Fit and finish was excellent. No affiliation just a stoked customer.

    Dissent Offroad Bumper Mounted Yesterday...

Ben, you are absolutely killing it! Great design and the cleanest one out there IMHO. Bring on the rear tire carrier and roof rack and you'll have my money boss. Keep on being awesome.

Anyone in Texas with an OME, Slee or ICON suspension on a 100 series?

I have ridden in several 100s with different suspensions, I think most of the comments about stiff ride in a 100 series is relative to the persons experience levels and expectations (either correct or false). The factory ride although smooth is also not that responsive nor optimized for Offroad...

    Post up your drawer/storage system

Nope, weight would be the only concern. Its a great material and I use it for a lot of things. Fastening it is the only tricky part verses wood where you can glue and screw... the Starboard is just a little more involved but not impossible.

    Securing storage drawers?

Try your local ACE hardware they are usually pretty well stocked. Loctite, would be easiest. Blue not red.

    Tent condensation

We bought our kids a Colubia down onesie with hood and flaps to put their feet and hands inside. They are basically a small down mountaineering suit... They looked like 25# Everest explorers. Fleece blanket layered up 2-3 layers in the pack-and-play, a down blanket on top of the kiddo and a...

    Modified ARB drawers

I'm just speculating but I'd bet the lid will handle the load spotter. Once you have it cantilevered way out there that's the real test but the base of the load spotter bolted to the ARB lid will add structure. I'd call ARB they could advise you I'm sure. If I am not mistaken, ARB uses a bearing...

    Midland 75-822 Portable/Mobile CB Radio

I bought one of these and I have found it quite useful for trail work with others. Not everyone has HAM (though they should ;) ) but most have a cb and this allows me to spot them without having to use a bunch of unfamiliar hand signals to noobs. I like that it hard mounts, I just use a mag...

PICTURE THREAD: Post up your Mobile HAM setups

Wow, dBeau! Great setup! Could you post up a pic or two of your rear antenna mounts? I'm considering something similar and would like to bend and weld two up for the rear of my Cruiser. Getting them to fit in the door gap and remain solid is a little tricky. These...

    Tent condensation

Condensation happens because of air flow and internal/external differences in temperature affecting dew point. You gotta move air through any tent or your breath (vapor) will accumulate enough moisture to cause lot of moisture on the inside of a tent. I read an article that a human can produce...

    Hello, meet Elsie.

Man, you are making me want to create a punch list of all the little projects I want and need to do my 40 as well. It's nuts how we can make peace with a lot of little stuff that with a little time and effort would be fixed right and more enjoyable in the long run. Keep it up.

    Sequoia Sleeping / Storage Platform

The sequoia is an awesome rig, we loved ours when we had one. Another option is sourcing a few low profile sleeping pads like a thick thermarest or a few of the exped mega mats. They are pricey but they will gain you another 4-6" of room compared to a blow up and won't sacrifice any comfort.

Building a Better and Tougher Awning

I have the same vehicle and the same desire as you. So, I am guessing you're gonna lengthen this one or hold out for another? I think the Hannibal's are the best I have seen out there yet.

    ARB Awning Room Input?

Are these things huge sails in the wind? Hows the "flapping" on a breezy night? I am a light sleeper and I find I like the taught pitch of a backpacking tent that doesn't flap when its windy out. Is there anyway to take up the slack in these awning rooms? Thanks in advance, this has been a very...

Blue Ridge Overland Gear does right

Lets keep the full court press on them to produce a Engle Transit bag with their goodies on the outside, map pocket, cooking pocket. They said they are interested but I am sure they have 1,000,000 things to do before satisfying my dreams LOL
