I've had a 2001 Sequoia and it was the most comfortable ride we've ever had. We now drive a 100 series land cruiser. Our decision was mostly due to the aftermarket support and love for the platform. The sequoia got another 4mpg on average and had gobs more space although both have a significant...
I'd say swap in a used motor, part yours out, and or buy a new to you rig... Check this one out for what that kind of coin buys you...

ab1985- that's a great storage box, you seem to have a lot of gear ready to roll in an efficient space. Well done... Now seal and cover that thing man! I like the flip lid above the drawers for quick access. Is that an 80 series? I always thought it could be cool to make cargo access through the...
Love Pelican products, their initial cost makes them tough to commit to but their longevity and durability usually make up for it. I'll wait till I can buy a used one at a discount. I was hoping they'd make a light weight version that is durable, waterproof, and still shed some serious weight. I...
Awesome pictures, gotta get back out there with the family. What a great part of our country! Moab/Arches/Canyon Lands may be my favorite place on earth.
Java- great write up. BB gun, never thought about that but that's a fun addition, and not a bad resource if you got into a last ditch survival situation. Thanks for posting.
Hey Washington Taco- Thanks for the post. How about editing your post to help us understand what's in the drawers? I am curious as to what you haul around.
Hijack on:
Personally I think that is a gorgeous 200 series and I'd love to own it! I think there is sooo much win in that set up. For long distance travel with some dirt sprinkled in, that's an amazing ride with a cavernous interior. All that and a deep clean black paint job... I think we can...
I've started designing a set of drawers for our new to us 100 series Land Cruiser and I'm trying to get a handle on what I would actually want/use in the drawers. I know folks use drawers for kitchens, recovery gear, tools and spares, camping gear, archiving Overland Journal collections etc. How...
Under a 100 bucks its hard to beat an igloo marine. I've had one for 10 years and it has scars but has never let me down. Can hold something like 300# on the lid too so it makes a handy step stool around camp.
I'm looking at mounting my Engel MT45 in the rear of my 100 series Land cruiser and trying to decide if the Slide Lock is worth the investment. I'll keep the fridge in the Cruiser half the time, and the quick release feature is attractive. I have a few specific question I'm hoping to gain...
Liked the videos, thanks for sharing.
I might have missed it but it looks like the lower portion of the cruiser has a matte finish or wrap or ???
Is it just me or is it something that looks like flat paint below the windows?
Looks great man, are you using a plasma for your plate cutting? Do you mock up with cardboard or a digital sketching program to flatten your bends. Curious to your process on your plate work in general...
Looking forward to a trailer build. I'm fond of trailers ;)
