I wasn't meaning to sound that way. I asked my propane guy about hose longevity during the planning phase and he said he has not seen any in his decades of installations that have degraded. He's talking about the stuff they sell, not the hoses you might buy at Walmart.

I guess this means that you think manufacturers and propane retailers sell hoses for residences, barbeques, and vehicles that are bound to fail and are a gross liability to them? Sounds like a lawyer's retirement dream.

Offroad, there's that word again. Lots of different meanings for lots of folks. Are we talking off the pavement? On some dust two-track? Or a boxy-looking teardrop?
We've taken ours on many rough un-maintained roads. I'm a believer in torsion axles and radial tires for a superior ride and a...
On my newest build, I installed a Propex heater and a Partner stove. The stove needed a high-pressure regulator and the heater the standard 11" WC like your BBQ uses.
Plan A was black pipe. But I recruited a friend of mine that was a propane installer for thirty years. He suggested rubber...
I've been pulling teardrops with torsion axles for sixteen years and wouldn't use anything else. Independent trailing suspension set for the weight of the trailer.
Makes for a smooth ride that extends the life of the trailer long enough to make it onto your will.

I used epoxy/fiberglass to seal under the Monstaliner. Adding a layer of glass is an easy deal. I used 2 oz cloth on the walls and 4 oz cloth on the roof. The weight difference because of available widths.
Do the walls while they're still on the bench.
Buy the appropriate pumps when you...
I have not used CPES but I have read the Safety Data Sheet and the stuff is nasty: MDS
I use a lot of Raka epoxy. As with most epoxy companies, you can buy the stuff in different viscosities. I've used their thin epoxy for sealing three teardrops before covering them with aluminum. The stuff...
I assume you are talking about building it yourself.
It won't shake apart if you build it correctly (like an airplane, not like a tank) and put the right axle under it.
At teardrop gatherings –and I realize you aren't doing a teardrop– the 'drops that come in with pans rattling have...
No.
It's the same axle that goes under all military utility trailers. I use the 2,000# axles on my teardrops.
Here's the link:
Dexter 3500# Torflex Axle

If it were me, I'd order a Dexter torsion axle specifically for the weight of your trailer. I'm scratching my head over a 5,000-pound pop-up though since the factory ones weigh between 1,500 and 3,000.

I get my struts from McMaster-Carr. They'll do a return if they don't work and have detailed PDFs of the open/closed dimensions.
Make sure you mount them so they don't bottom out when closed.

That's 2" XPS foam board. For the walls and floor, I used 3/4" polyisocyanurate. I used the poly because that's the only 3/4" foam board I could find and was damn happy to find it.

I would suggest you buy the door directly from Vintage Technologies (that's the eBay seller with the door) so you can order the proper depth trim ring based on your wall thickness.
The window doesn't mention an internal trim ring so again, I'd got with VT. They are a good family run business...
